Look at him!!! He even has his overalls on!!! He's taking the task really seriously!!!
That’s right grandpa educating the young folks out here. We need more people like you. Stay blessed young man ❤
One of the last gifts my dad ever got me before he passed unexpectedly… was a drill, a toolbox/carrying case for it, and lots of accessories and an extra battery. I ended up putting up mine and my roommates curtains after he showed me how to use it properly. He had 2 girls but taught us both how to cook, clean, and the typical “boy” stuff. This brings back memories of him showing me this, I’m so glad you posted this. ❤❤
Elders have a serenity and calmness that young people don’t, so what better than to have elders doing asmr. What a nice video! Thank you so much ❤
Awww it's the mechanic jumper - warms my heart. ❤ Thank you Grandpa poe for ur knowledge/wisdom
Grandpa, you can't imagine, how important you are. You help me to sleep better, feel save & relaxed. Thank you so much for your work.
Greetings and warm hugs from your granddaughter Stefanie in Germany. ❤️
Grandpa Poe is the best grandpa I could ever have, he makes my day ❤❤❤
This is the cutest thing ever. i dont really have a grandpa (he's alive, he just left my grandma and moved far so i dont hear from him) and this genuinley brings me so much joy
Im very impressed at his age doing ASMR is truly a once in a life time thing to see
Aww yes, Grandpa’s in his element here! You can tell! ❤
My grandpa passed away in 2021 due to Covid and how he had lung problems at the time and I’d like to say watching this didn’t just relax me and made me remember a forgotten memory that made my heart sob and made me tear up and I remember him and I working on his truck and showing me his tools and teaching me how to use them when I was 6 years old love this and love you grandpa be steady fast up there 😔🙏🏼
This man…this man is EVERYTHING. Thank you for sharing your gift, Grandpa Poe! ❤
I used to watch my grandpa do woodcarvings and he would show me the tools and I would just watch. I miss him so much and you really remind me of him ❤️
Finally, some quality ASMR. Explaining basic things in a gentle tone, but not whispering. Coaxing some noises out of items, but not all. Not relying on binaural audio for effect. I rarely get tingles, but this was perfect! I can even watch it without headphones!
I recently lost my grandmother. Her husband my pap pap died before i was born. She always told me stories of how my pap pap worked on cars. She showed me his old toolboxes and how he helped her at her sewing shop. When I watched this you remind me a lot of what my grandmother told me about my pap pap. Thank you grandpa Poe!
I've been watching you for like 3 months and you're the best and most heartwarming asmrtist in the asmrtist universe.I also love this video and the tools i didnt know now i know them by the most heartwarming asmrtist.I LOVE YOU SM GRANDPA🥰🤗💯
“This is important for both boys and girls” 👍🏻👍🏻Also, Grandpa Poe’s comment about passing down his cherished tool box to his grandchildren is very touching!
My grandpa wasn't in a lot of my life, he passed away when I was 8. My grandpa would be SO happy you're teaching me these things, thank you ❤️
As someone who isn’t very handy, this was incredibly helpful. I know the basics for tools, but there were a few mentioned in here that I didn’t know the names of so now I know! Thanks Grandpa Poe for the lesson!
This is a great video but here in England we use some different names ie for the common pliers, we call them slip pliers and the common screwdriver, is called a flathead screwdriver, Phillips screwdrivers for the plus sign head ones. Hope this helps!
@williammorgan1860 in Canada we call them the same, Phillips, Robertson, etc...they do in the US as well, I think it was just simplified as if speaking to a child
I Love seeing him laughing at 3:48
I never had a grandpa and my dad was never a patient man. I really needed this gentle, understanding male energy.
This video found me when i needed it. I was reminiscing about family but never really had a relationship with my grandparents. Now through the power of the internet we can all have grandparents. Thank you for the wholesome video it made me smile ear to ear.
My family outcast me a lot as a kid because I was very different from what they wanted I guess. I love these grandpa videos and im so happy to finally learn a bit about tools! Any life lessons grandpa can teach us would make my brain so happy.
Actually i didnt have a chance to met my own de grandfather and watching these WONDERFULL videos it feels like i am with my own grandpa. The videos are fully in so so soo sooo love and voice gives me a real peace. i can forget all of the problems while watching you grandpa. Thank you for all of these sweetest videos hope that more and more people recognize the videos and meet whit you grandpa you are the BEST. ( Sorry for bad language hope i could explain) ❤❤❤❤
I didn’t know the names of the different pilers before (standard vs gas pump). What a sweet and relaxing way to learn about tools! Reminds me of both of my granddads. Thank you for the lovely video!
Omg! I'm so very happy right now. Hello Grandpa Poe. Simply adore and love you. ❤🥰❤️
Kids nowadays need to watch this video instead of social media 🫡. Great video Granpa.
my grandfather past last year and watching this made me so happy! thank you for unintentionally letting me relieve some of those memories!
I hope his grandkids one day can watch these videos and enjoy him again and again. ❤
My pops passed away during covid pandemic, and I still remember when he gave me one of his screwdrivers when I was a kid to help out my father. This video is a great memory, thank you! ❤❤
おじいちゃん動画ありがとうございます。
おじいちゃんがとても楽しそうに見えました。
私も楽しくなりました。
おじいちゃんの笑顔は最高です❤
lost my pap a few months ago. he built cars and we’d always work on them together in the garage. he started me super young, so this really takes me back. thank you so much for this video :,) ❤️❤️
Was grandpa a mechanic? So cool! Love this video 😊❤
So relaxing AND educational! 😄Thank you, Grandpa!
Thank you for such a nice video, Grandpa! I never met my grandpa, he died few months before I was born, but I was able to go through his stuff as an adult. Nobody wanted it and my grandma didn't want to throw it away. I found some tools in great condition and took them home, as I'm the only person in my family to do manual work and crafts as a hobby. From what I heard about my grandpa, what he was like, I think we would like each other. Sometimes I like to imagine that we would spent lot of time together in the workshop. I love using his tools as it's my only connection to him and I think he would be happy they're still in use and good condition.
Thank you for reminding me of him. ❤
My dad is a mechanic and I alr knew most of the tools but it's nice to hear him talk about them and stuff
This is SO good! Like many others, grandpa poe, i miss my own grandparents. You are so heartwarming. You're so great at this, thank you for sharing your time with us. Much love to you and your family. ❤
Thank you! Your generation is so kind, polite, and has a knack for teaching without making anyone feel inferior, in most any subject or matter.
This is quite possibly the most wholesome ASMR video I've seen in years! Thank you for helping me grin ear to ear as I try to fall asleep.
Oh this is so wholesome!
I don't have many male role-models in my life anymore so this is very relaxing and heart-warming to me ❤
I don't usually comment but i've been watching you for quite some time. I could tell you were really in your element there. I bet you were quite the handyman back in the day. Not only was this relaxing but it was quite instructive too.
Thank you so much for this video! I started woodworking recently, but I always felt uneasy around tools. It was cool to have them explained to me.
My dad used to help me with woodworking projects, the last one we did was building a bench together a few years ago. He gave me my first tool set at about 10 years old and has taught me everything I know about how to use them. Thank you for bringing back those lovely memories :)
I was never taught anything like this. No one ever prepared me for real life and I am beyond happy that I found this video❤️ this was so calming and relaxing and interesting at the same time. This really warmed my heart and made me a smarter and wiser person❤️ saved this in a playlist so I can show this to everyone ❤️thank you for this!
Righty tighty.. lossey goosey 😂😂😂😂😂 love grandpa!!!
yea i loved that 😂😂
thank you for spreading so much love and positivity your kindness will never go unnoticed 😁
You're like the grandpa I don't have anymore as both of them died one week apart from each other 11 years ago. Thank you really 😢❤
I really wish I'd had more memories with them because when they passed I was only 9 years old, but at least I can say that I got to meet them for 9 whole years. ❤
I love this grandpa! I enjoy when you branch out into things we love, like makeup, but I also love hearing about the things you love!! Please share more of your knowledge, hobbies, and even memories with us ❤
Thank u so much grandpa Poe hopefully u have a great day❤
Love you Grandpa Poe! Thanks For The Stuff :)
I love how happy he looks to tell you about all the tools!!❤️
I love this. It's what really brings me back to feeling like a kid with my dad, and the comfort I still get from the sound, and smell when I go in his garage. True ASMR from the heart. Thank you ❤❤
I live on the other side of my country from my family and grandparents. This video brought a lot of comfort after a difficult night shift 🫶 thank you grandpa Poe!!
I’m recently without a grandfather on either side. You look just like my maternal grandfather and act just like my paternal grandfather. Thank you for the nostalgia, sir. It’s incredibly appreciated.
Hi Grandpa! Hope you are ready for your weekend.
I'm so happy to see you had great memories back there when you were using all these tools, I can see how much you've been using tools and helping people with it☺
I learned so much about tools through this video, I hope I can help my friends and family too!
Summer is finally coming! Keep yourself safe~ send lots of love 🥰
I’ve had a stressful month and these videos are starting to calm me down and make me feel better emotionally and mentally thank you from a broken man who is healing. ❤️🩹
I watch grandpa Poe whenever I miss my grandpa or when I need to sleep, he’s my therapy 😊
This is great, I can tell a lot of care and pride went into this video and it’s really inspiring and I respect your dedication Grandpa Poe
i never had anyone like my dad or granddad or uncle show me what tools were what, so i've had to figure a lot of that stuff out on my own. this was really sweet and felt really comforting, and also informative! i didn't know some of those!
so thanks grandpa ❤
I love this video. I have dug wells and poured tons of concrete throughout my life and I have my grandfather to thank.
I was so blessed to have experiences with both my parents teaching me how to use tools. Thank you for a third wonderful experience Grandpa! ♥️
He is so kind and sincere it brings a smile to my face! Awesome video🤙🙌
Thank you Grandpa, I never got to see my paternal grandpa and my maternal grandfather passed away recently, who would take a look at me and know I'm going through tough situations, and would talk me through it. He reminds me of you. Keep up the good work Gramps, love to see you !
i miss my grandpa dearly and the wisdom he use to give me, this makes me feel good inside like I'm listening too his wisdom again, thank you grandpa :)
My grandpa died in 1995, and I never got to know him. My mom named me after him so I’ve always felt the need to be with him and get to know him, and this video was a good substitute ❤️
This brought back some very old memories of my grandpa teaching me how to use tools in his woodshop. Thank you 😊
My grandpa and dad have both already passed on.
It's very nice and comforting to be able to get old memories from this type of a video!
I'm very lucky that I had a lovely grandmother who spent lots of quiet time with me. I want everyone to have that experience
hello grandpa... I'm from Indonesia. Thank you for making a video to help me sleep when I suffer from insomnia. I hope you are always blessed with health and safety..❤❤
I never thought I would be interested in learning about tools! I always thought about learning about it boring in school, but I just can't believe how I can learn while having fun (while getting sleepy). Thank you from the Philippines! Salamat po!
your the best , grandpa , i hope you know your the best and everyone loves you ,
He knows that he loves us if he talks to us softly and tells us how to use stuff
Thank you Grandpa for sharing your tools! You remind me of both of my grandpas
This man has that amazing smile that always brightens my day
Grandpa I love that toolbox. I'm a widow so I have to learn how to fix things myself. Lovely toolbox and very useful tools to have. TY so much for all your videos.. Hugs from Georgia.
Loved this video. I worked in a hardware store for years and developed a liking for tools. That is a beautiful toolbox. Thank you Grandpa ❤
This was so wholesome I'm not even mad he didn't explain the magnet properly that extends to pick up nails or screws etc dropped in hard to reach places, or show the bottle opener on the handle of the paint tin opener ❤ this is not your typical quiet asmr, but i like it. Its relaxing nonetheless 😌
Very good video❤ Today was my Great Grandad's 100th birthday, and i still have the toolbox he gave me when he was 92, all the equipment still works fine!❤ This ASMR video brought those memories back! Thankyou Grandpa Poe!
I love how grandpa Poe is passionate about his tools. I love tools!
I would prefer no one else to learn about these tools, thank you grandpa poe for the wonderful video!
Good evening grandpa!!! Thank u for the new interesting video!!!!!
I love this so much! I grew up calling it flathead and my husband calls it common. We are always correcting each other. But I also say Phillips and he says cross point. Can’t wait to paint!!!!❤❤
This is arguably the best video I’ve seen on RUclips in my lifetime, thank you so much for this absolutely amazing video, wish you the best❤❤❤
This is my first time finding this channel and i absolutely love it! I have learned so much already! ❤❤❤
Love from New Zealand 🇳🇿 ❤
You remind me a lot of Mr. Rogers, who I used to watch a lot growing up. This gave me a warm feeling of nostalgia I haven’t felt in awhile, so thank you
you can tell he’s very passionate about it, it’s so sweet to see 🤍
My dad abandoned me and I never met my grandpa. Thank you for this gift sir. 🙏
Nice to see a tool asmr video. I posted one a few months back because i had never seen one. Thanks gramps!
Saving this video so i can feel like my dad is talking to me.
I dont live with him anymore as an adult but i do miss my childhood and learning about tools with him.
As someone that grew up without any grandparents I absolutely love this.
As someone from the south, particularly a Louisianan, we have a habit of calling things by the most common name brand. Adjustable wrenches are Crescent wrenches, gaspump pliers are Channel-Locks, etc. Also, common screws and screwdrivers are never referred to as such around here. They’ve always exclusively been referred to as flathead here. Much love!
God bless you Grandpa, Amen 🙏❤️
This was very personal and heartwarming sir! Thank you so much for making it! It brought back memories of my grandpa that has been gone since June 2011. Thank you again❤
If only Grandpa made more videos for us, the younger generation of men like this would be amazing.
When I lived with my PapaBob, he didn't keep me away from the heavy work. The fun work. He was so cool. He had a chisel and mallet that we would crack open rocks with together. He taught me about geography and keeping the home repair up.
Hi Grandpa. Thanks for the tools and great box. My real life grandpa was an engineer and tinkerer. I spend hours of my life in his garage messing with all of his stuff. He tried to teach me as you have. Thanks for your patience and the memory.
Great video, I love overexplaining things in asmr, and honestly learned some things here! Reminds me of my toolbox my grandfather gave me which is actually an old rusty tacklebox, keep it always in my Truck and that man has indirectly helped me every time my gas guzzler stubs it's toe. Instant sub. ❤
Such a beautiful video. I usw all this tools all my life but Imagine to see this the first time on your way is very fantastic! It shows the simple things in life in another angle which i already forgot. Thank you 🙂
