I just bought a SI kraken v3 titanium and can't wait for it to arrive. I have a nautilus V2 and thought it was too handle biased. So I got the zippy kit for it as well as some custom scales on Etsy that made the nautilus so much better than the original. If the Kraken is the same I might grab the zippy kit for it as well. I like to have a bit more customization when it comes to balance. I like it very neutral.
Two of my three of my 2.5's have the inserts and a bite handle indicator. I left the 3rd one stock just as a reference piece. Although i seem to really like the 3.0 without any inserts or caps/bite handle indicator.
I've been very curious about Zippys stuff. The easy customizability seems kindof insane. How much did this cost with shipping? Also I think the M word you were looking for was market

Yes it is, I can't recommend the 2.5 inserts enough. I'd say 2.5 inserts made it closer to the live feel than the v3 did.
V2.5 with inserts is the best kraken trainer imo

Depends if you want plastic or aluminum. I have both and I really like the Edit Lite as a beater. Vulp is good too tho.
This is a longshot, but you could sell you your kraken trainer and buy a V3 for the better grip
