Hi, I’m Patrick. I’m a freelance science writer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training and a master’s in clinical exercise physiology. I used to work in the clinical setting as a certified athletic trainer, physical therapy aide, and a certified strength and conditioning specialist. After working in the clinical setting, I went back to school and became a teacher. The goal of my content is to help normal people, not just pre-med students, learn about the human body. That might mean explaining a topic from an anatomy class or exploring a topic from medical history.

Love the diversion from human physiology. Always happy to see the side projects (?) posted too :)
Hey man, great content. I was always interested in physiology and anatomy of animals besides the human spectrum. I really hope you will be making more of these videos, you are unique to talk about this subject.
Thanks for the video!
This one might be a one-off since I've had the study on my radar for months now, but I'll always keep my eyes open!
Oh man, that ended on a bummer. I guess I should expect bad news on most nature videos. Thanks for destroying everything, humans! Still a very fascinating and adorable subject. Otters are awesome.
I know man, it was a bummer to read. Here's hoping that the trout population stays up!
Hello patron
If I was on the verge of starving, I probably wouldn't be able to run to the delicious ramen. Hopefully, the shop owner finds me the next morning still breathing and feeds me
nice haircut bruv!
That's nice of you to say, thanks!
Bring me the Time Child!
humans can also achieve this ability by, high altitude training or by using training masks, right?
The same increase in RBCs fro living and training at high altitude, yeah. I haven't seen great evidence for the training masks
