The 7 was a solid shoe. Don‘t see many changes or improvements on the 8 that would make it absolutely necessary to get. Imho now is the best time to get a good budget deal on the 7. The 9 will probably be a much bigger update again.
Yes the 7 was a good shoe. Surprisingly, I feel a slight difference in the way these fit in the toe box.
I don't see that there is a big change in the new model. I don't think I will buy the new update because in any case I have 4 shoes from metcon 7.

Nice review Tito! How's the fit compared to the Metcon 7? I heard that the 8 is a little bit tighter on the toebox.
Not really, in fact it feels slightly wider.

Got mine today. Went true to size but the front width is a bit narrow. Length wise fine. I do have narrow feet. I can’t figure out if it’s the right size for me. Got this pair with a good discount and im not able to switch to another size unfortunately. Does it break in?
I’m not sure bout the 8, but the 7 didn’t. And these actually feel wider than those, got them in the same size and had a similar problem as yours with my 7s, but not with the 8.

They come true to size for my foot shape. Yours may be different
How is the performance in terms of your own use? maybe doing snatches, transitioning from burpees to box jumps and etc.
Personally, I like it. Stability, fit, and feel is the same as the 7. But it is noticeably lighter than the 7.
@@TitoFit Awesome! just got mine today and what a difference from my metcon 2 and nano 8. You can really feel the stability and how the shoe hugs your foot. Appreciate the answer!
How long did it take to deliver when ordering from the nike app??
Less than 5 days from what I recall.

There have been some clips of Bron and Kyrie using Metcons for training in the past.
I don't like the big "METCON" logo huhu
Easy fix, it can hardly be seen in the darker colorways. Or design your own in the app.
The tongue on the 8's looks horrible
It’s practically the same as the 7s
looks like a can of soda! it's the fresca of metcons!
I think Nike has this color in a lot of their current releases for running and training this season
