I'll default to what Wiz said on this. He said that Wayne knows those people who set that up and felt slighted that they didn't push for him. I have no idea who those people are but in hearing that it kinda does sound like they snubbed him.
Not in general but imo most of his biggest songs of recent are like that. Humble, Not Like Us, Loyalty, TV Off. I really like those last two songs but it seems the ones he’s receiving so much critical acclaim for aren’t in some “different league” where they deserve so much credit. Just my opinion though I am lowkey a hater too so 🤷🏾♂️😹
@@rayllive I mean yeah those songs gonna have the most streams cuz they accessible but if we are talking about songs that actually brought him into conversation about being the best you gotta look at songs like samidot, how much a dollar cost, or most recently reincarnated these songs are held to such high regard cuz of their storytelling and how well written they are not because a hook is catchy
@ yea you know what I need to actually go listen to those and read the lyrics and actually give em more of a chance. I always thought he was a lil overrated but the whole beef made me like him even less and I think I’ve been unfair towards his music
Gotta be Change off of 4YEO. But I really love Johnny Ps Caddy even though that’s not technically his song. January 28th is up there for me too. I love how the beat has pieces of other beats on it it’s so great
Drake didn't help anyone. Drake attached himself to those who he knew were about to pop off. That's why he won't release the PND album. He knows PND will get bigger than him now
Sorry bro but this is a bad take. Have you heard about the Migos Versace remix? The Migos were underground rappers only known in ATL until Drake hopped on a track with them. There's videos of both Kendrick and Cole saying how Drake really boosted their careers when they were younger because he got them in front of a new audience. Blocboy JB was only known for a short time because of Drake. Lil Baby and Gunna really gained a lot of momentum after hopping on tracks with him as well. There's so many others you can just look it up though.
"They" didn't do Wayne dirty. New Orleans had the final say and they chose Kdot.

Kendrick’s appeal never been catchy hooks now I’m confused ?
