I would definitely not put days gone on the list as it has grown and grown after the first 2 or 3 years, and i 100% think sony has dropped the ball not commissioning a sequel.
Despite its growth it’s still extremely understated! If it had the following it deserves we’d already have a sequel by now, and we’d be talking about a trilogy!
If rumors are to be believed, Sony is putting out a remake/remaster of days gone in the near future and are gonna gage how well it does to see if they do in fact make a sequel. Far fetched as it sounds, this is literally what Sony is doing over soul reaver remaster, if that game sells well they will do a reboot or sequel. The very fact we got a remaster is because the comic that was recently released sold out in the first day. Sony realized og fans were out there and craving another legacy of kain, so the remaster is a test. So i can't really call the days gone rumors far fetched. One can hope anyway. As for your original take, days gone was completely ignored by mainstream except for the game being "sexist and broken". Entire articles written about the main character was misogynistic because of a remark he made towards HIS WIFE'S ass. Another article talked about the setting being in southern Oregon was boring, "just not a lot going on in the woods of Oregon" and the journo lamented about how the game would have been better set in a city...you know like..every other zombie game. Brain dead take if i ever heard one. So yeah the game was ignored as a result of the woke media smear campaign and the game didn't find its audiences until people are forced to stay in doors during the lock downs. By then the damage was done, it was already too late. Plans for a sequel were scrapped and the team was cannibalized into the naughty dog studio..ironically to work on the last of us factions which also ended up cancelled.
Days Gone failed because the game BROKEN at launch & remained BROKEN for months. That game had progression bugs, game breaking bugs that remained at the first 5 patches into the following year. So no Sony didn't drop the ball, the devs didn't ask for a delay.
@@UGNPFU Lots of games suffers from that (unfortunately) and had not been buried the same way that Days Gone. We have to thank the "professional videogames media" for that, selling DG as "another generic survival zombie sandbox". The very same media that now says "DG is one of the most underrated gems of the past generation". And DG's director being the greatest dickhead out there doesn't help either.
days gone, thymesia and steelrising for sure! atlas fallen is fun enough if you have a buddy to play it with in multiplayer. risk of rain 2 is a very well known game. Edit: And I just bought laika after finding out about the game in this video. And wanted to buy Bright memory infinite but then I read in the steam comments that it's a 2 hour game and I cant justify spending 18 euros on that.
It's short but worth it and definitely replayable imo. Action packed with very little travel the empty open world between action scenes. Definitely worth a spot on the wishlist for the next sale if nothing else
Instead of risk of rain 2 get returnal. Same gameplay loop but a million times better and tightest controls and best use of dualshock controller. Its probably the best 3rd person shpoter out right now. In my #5 all time
days gone was an absolutely awesome game the hordes are challenging and its up to you when you want to take them on. i waited til i got some good gear but damn are they fun Story was great and you get recognition in the story for killing a horde which makes you feel like a badass 10/10 game Sequel please
Seeing Scars Above on here is cool and heart breaking. I bought it on my series x a few months back, but the system has shit the bed. It actually went down twice, the first time I paid $200 to get it fixed, but it only stayed working for a few months and went down again.
I've played Deliver Us the Moon, and overall I thought it was good. Some of the later space walk puzzle sections though got super frustrating due to how tight the timers were, and the fact any missteps meant you'd fail.
bright memory infinite and days gone is masterpiece ... both games is never underrated for me., you know bright memory i think can beat mostly AAA game right now🎉
I have day gone. I am survival horror fan. If some games are also on the PS5. I will try them. BtW: If you know some Survival horror games like Resident Evil/ Silent Hill/Evil Within. Let me know. Doesn't matter if they made by less known.
Pretty good list, would definitely appreciate it if you said which platforms each game is on. The first half I have never heard of so I'm guessing they're PC only. Wasn't until The Medium that I knew some games would be on consoles.
Ok some of these games were known to be good already like Days Gone but others are slept on. Atlas Fallen looked great on its first trailers of it coming out then I like most didn’t even realize it got released. Good list all around.
Id add Gotham Knights to this list. A game hated and compared to the Arkham games even though the developers clearly made a point to the fans that this was not even in the Arkham universe. The combat was fluid but more arcade but the top-notch voice acting, the story, and how each character feels like they belong and are part of a family, the Bat-Family to be exact.
gotham knights doesnt belong on an underated list its rated fair the game isnt really fun its mediocre at best bland and watered down combat super repetative gameplay loop and a bad loot system story isnt that good played through the thing cause i had hopes for it but its just boring and not something to recommend.
I tried Thymesia and rly wanted to give it a chance but there's no way. This game is boring, very linear, combat is not satisfying and bosses are tough, and not too many.
The list and the idea is great, bit the problem is that you sound too artificial. Too obviously you're reading a script which in turn makes your speech have no soul.
Fun Fact, Bright Memory was developed by one Chinese guy in his spare time.
The OG demo but Bright Memory Infinite is a whole ass studio
An older one but I was blown away by Return to the Obra Din. One of the most brilliant games I have ever played.
Heard that one is really good. Own it but never played
Yoooo, I've been trying to remember the name of Obra Din for awhile now! Thanks for mentioning it!
It would be great if you mentioned what platform these games are on
Thanks for the Thymesia suggestion i'll be trying it out!
The game was played too easy and short

Bright memory is made by one dude
It's short but worth it and definitely replayable imo. Action packed with very little travel the empty open world between action scenes.
Definitely worth a spot on the wishlist for the next sale if nothing else
Bright Memory Infinite goes on sale a lot for up to 90% off. I have had it on my wishlist for a while but never bought it.
What a great list! Showing a lot of games that most of us didn't know. Thanks!
Speak for yourself. I own half of them. ;)
I am a pretty avid gamer and I haven't heard of most of these games. Great list.
Instead of risk of rain 2 get returnal. Same gameplay loop but a million times better and tightest controls and best use of dualshock controller. Its probably the best 3rd person shpoter out right now. In my #5 all time
Sick gameplay ugly female character lol
It is really good and basically a better version of risk of rain yes 👌🏽
Just purchased Scars above while watching this video! Thanks !!

10/10 game
Sequel please
Bright memory infinate was fun, i enjoyed the battles. My only complaint is the campagn is really short.
So glad i found this video, because theres a lot of games i forgot the name of that ive been wanting to get

Huh, well, thank you very much... Thymesia looks very interesting to me... Think I'll go get it and give it a shot... Again, thanks for the vid.
I've played Deliver Us the Moon, and overall I thought it was good. Some of the later space walk puzzle sections though got super frustrating due to how tight the timers were, and the fact any missteps meant you'd fail.
So basically these games stayed under the SHADOWS OF THE COLOSSUS games 😂
Thaumaturge is a gem.
Chants of Sennaar is incredible
Steel rising was good fr 👏🏽 and I got it free
I played Bright Memory infinite, very cool game developed by one guy.
Clicked Because Of Bright Memory Infinite On The Thumbnail Game Is Incredibly Fun
What platform are these games on? PS4, PS5, or Xbox please.

15:49. Soul Reaver did that something like 20+ years ago.
Atlas fallen was alot better when the free dlc dropped. It added some of the best combat attacks in the game.
is Broken Porcelain playable nowadays?, it was released in a horrible technical state, that's why I skipped it back then.
I don't know if the fixed it but it is on sale for $3 on Steam until the 13th.
bright memory infinite and days gone is masterpiece ... both games is never underrated for me., you know bright memory i think can beat mostly AAA game right now🎉
Current day AAA games are no competition
I completed both Bright Memory games earlier this year. Cool games.
What game is the thumbnail from
it should be ,,bright memory infinite,,
"Crime Boss: Rockay City" were trashed by critics, 52%... 82% on Steam...
It’s fun but got old quick
Laika is amazing!
For once I wish that the thumbnail would reflect an actual game.

Thymesia is an hidden gem for sure
yesss
Thymesia looks awesome actually! Is it out for just PC? I'll have to search the PS Shop to see if I can find it for PS5! Thanks for the mention!
Time stamps in description👍
what was the first game before speaking ?
Scars above and atlas fallen
Deliver us the moon was a hard play through for me, slow and boring.
I quite enjoyed it. Felt like playing an indie film
What's the first game in the video, the one that looks like Monster Hunter
Atlas Fallen
why do you say that AAA productions have no soul?!? that's bs.
I wasn’t referring to all of them,
but many games are released broken or are simply copies of other successful games in the franchise.
I played Steelrising and honestly, I really did not like it.
What about Just Cause 4. Great Game
V RISING

Remothered: Broken Porcelain? Why is that even on the list? The game is unplayable because the damn thing crashes every 5 minutes.
Your end the problem. I had zero crashes.
Most of these games are average at best nothing special about them only days gone was great
I tried Thymesia and rly wanted to give it a chance but there's no way. This game is boring, very linear, combat is not satisfying and bosses are tough, and not too many.
To many supernatural horror games, always a parallel world, yawn 😴
Go play CoD...
@macdealer7936 nah, farming simulator 😂
Steelrising? Noooooo.
You can sum this up as Lies of P but bad.
Atlad fallen is sure asf not worth buying. Barely worth playing on gamepass
Agreed. I wanted to like it. I tried to like it, but couldn’t. Empty, soulless mess
atlas fallen is so boring I legit fell asleep while playing
