That needle it is a special one. It is called a "self-threading" needle

Amazing! Just one question regarding this video: what is the reason for sewing the magnets to the back of the full page, instead of sewing them right under the eyes, above the head layer?

Regarding your question, the reason is a safety issue, the more inaccessible the better!
