2:41 To be fair, there was a Dorrie in the Mushroom Kingdom in Odyessy, and seeing how the Mushroom Kingdom in this game is based off of Odyessy's, I'm willing to take this as a bit of continuity.
There’s also the fact that Dorrie’s home in Mario 64 is in Hazy Maze Cave, which is accessed through both her basement and connected to the cavern behind her waterfall.
@@Gamegobazooka I doubt Peach frequents ANY of the painting worlds of Mario 64--after all, I get the feeling they're not supposed to _exist._ The power of the Stars is what enabled Bowser to trap the inhabitants of the castle within the walls.
Whew, finally caught up to this playthrough. Finished the game a couple weeks ago, and went straight to watching your perspective instead. Funny how that works. Anyways, hope you keep enjoying the game!

As such, they decided to scrap the item, but a programmer left half of it in as a joke. Also its description is literally, “only half as useful as a pair of socks”
6:08 or Luigi used his logic off-screen, did a deal with the bird, so they could elaborate on making the deal cheaper, and kill the bird so they could get the ore, as there is no reason why the birds didn't picked Mario or Luigi or Peach, but rather they picked this dude.
