- Sigourney Weaver played iconic conservationist Dian Fossey in "Gorillas in the Mist," and now that Ellen is preparing to build a research center for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, the actress gave Ellen a few tips on how to talk to the majestic creatures.

Legit and I know some actress and actors don’t need an Oscar to be a staple Meryl Streep is a great actress but sigourney Weaver made history not just for women in movies but women everywhere Meryl just makes good movies some with Susan Sarandon in. Thelma and Louise that movie changed the game not as much but sigourney Weaver I will always remember as the warden in holes first movie I saw her in she become my icon for years till michelle fairly one got aka catelyn stark kicked her off.
Prayers for Bobby made me appreciate Sigourney in so many ways! An extremely talented and kind human being she is. I recommend you all watch that movie.

In my mind she's my auntie! haha Something about her just draws you in. Maybe it's her voice. We watched "Gorillas In The Mist" when it came out as a school project. Very emotional movie. Sigourney made you feel like you knew Dian Fossey. Powerful movie to be moved by it so at the age of 11.
Sigourney Weaver has been my hero since I was 13 (now 45) and I continue to love everything she does and everything about her. I know I'll never get to meet her, but I reckon she'd be as delightful and down to earth as I imagine her to be.

I love Ellen to death one thing I noticed is when somebody on her show grabs her she kind of pulls away this is the first time we're actually seen her move forward so that the guest could actually have a better grip on her hand.
I really get a kick out of this because this is the first time I'm kind of seeing Ellen Starstruck and I love it.
Anybody that watches Ellen hears Ellen's voice I think is instantly star-struck because Allen is just amazing and wonderful and caring and so sweet and such a Pioneer and how could you not love her.

I would like to correct Sigourney; gorillas do fight, are territorials and can be very aggressive. They're not just all love. That's important we acknowledge that. Even plants wedge wars.
