I'm DYING to know more about the rest of the ghosts deaths. Can't wait to hear Mary's witch trial, and the Captain, Kitty... and I also hope there's a hundred more seasons!
@@josukehigashikata3777 I mean that would explain why she threw up as a ghost , I think in the wedding weddy episode. I don't think we will know much more about Mary unless the other figured it out, I won't give a spoiler for season 4, because I could unintentionally give a spoiler
Me too. Most of the ghosts have some sort of hint on their person that shows how they may have died. The Captain, Kitty and Robin’s aren’t very obvious as some of the others, though. The Captain will be interesting as I’m curious to know how he could have died in the house, away from battle. Clearly he was never called up so I guess he could have got sick or met with an accident. However, I wonder if he might have taken his own life. Maybe Havers is killed in the war? With Kitty, I think her sister might have done something to her. Given she throws up suddenly now and then, I think she may have poisoned Kitty in order to get the full inheritance. I also wonder what it would take for the other ghosts we do know about the deaths of to get “sucked off”. They’ve all had moments of closure but it seems to be pretty random when they do.
This show is perfectly cast. Not just our beloved 6 Idiots, but every other role is simply spot on. Kiell Smith-Bynoe makes probably the hardest role absolutely endearing, Lolly makes me love an extrovert (this is not a normal thing), and every word that comes out of Katy Wix’s mouth is utterly hysterical. Plus Charlotte Ritchie manages to be the backbone of it all, as the one with the foot in both worlds. And even the recurring/minor roles are perfect. From the solicitor from the first episode, Obi with his eagerness to help his friends, the Beg-Chetwyndes (the fact that they got Sophie Thompson for Bunny!) and Rosie Cavaliero as Fiona - seriously, such great casting all-round. And the multi-characters they play! I fell for our Idiots first because of Nigel offering Allison milk. They are simply lovely. Thank you for this!
I just watched the first episode the other day and I am HOOKED "Daddy's gonna drill a hole in the wall" "DADDY IS NOT GOING TO DRILL A HOLE IN ANYTHING!" "Fine, but I won't share my canoe with you" "Gorilla always win" "What is hotel?" "You see, Robin-" "Kill them"
just love this show so much and one my favourite moments was hearing the Cap's laugh I mean I can imagine it took ages to get it right without the others cracking up,
I don’t know why but 4:02 “man called Thomas do poem” made me spit take first time I saw it and still gets me whenever I hear it. It was such a nice touch.
5:22 OKAY BUT THE WAY THAT WHEN ROBIN TALKS ABOUT EATING LITERAL BUM THE CAPTAIN LOOKS AT LIKE EVERYTHING BUT THEM IS SO FUCKING FUNNY TO ME LIKE IM NOT USUALLY THIS IMMATURE BUT HOLY SHIT
I'd have liked that too! "People find it scary apparently." 😂 But I was reading on wiki Ghosts that the reason they don't tend to use children as ghosts is because the children will grow and ghosts have to stay the same.
HOW have I NEVER noticed that before?! Larry's my favourite idiot and I tend to mostly focus on him with every rewatch, but this cute move has definitely slipped through the cracks!
I'm loving watching this for the third time. When it was broadcasted I probably had it on in the background while doing other things. Then I found out more about the characters and their idiosyncracies and watched it with full attention. It became even more enjoyable.
I’ve been thinking and I think the reason that Thomas jumped at the toaster is because he died because he was shot and the sound came from behind him and the same with the toaster
@@samkenyon4522 I appreciate the explanation, but I just realized the time stamp is wrong. It should be one second after lol, when Mary says, "Oh, it's numbers." I never understood that, I don't know if I'm just stupid (probably) or it's a British joke or something else.
@@hernobleness I indeed thought of that, but also considered the possibility that there was something else to the joke, even more with a show like this one lol
Is it possible that alison direct distant descendants from humphrey? Alison may have come from robin and his sister? Is alison mary great great great great great great great great great great great granddaughter.is it possible that alison direct descendants from kitty half sister?
Could be and there is no real true answer, but my take on it is that they aren't all related and that different families inhabited that house over the centuries - also Mary definitely didn't live in that house as she seems from a poorer class, which is why I 100% want to see a Mary-central episode in series 4 to know how she ended up on a pyre at some rich family's property
Alison inherited the house from a step great aunt, Heather Button, who was the great granddaughter of Fanny. Fanny married a man who was the great grandson of Thomas's cousin who betrayed him at the party. So Alison and Fanny are only related to each other and to Thomas through marriage not blood. Heather Button would have been related to Fanny and Thomas through blood but not Alison. When Robin said everyone descended from him and his sister he was only joking. There were other people in his tribe when he was saying that monogamy didn't exist in it and you just had sex with whoever you felt like so nobody knew who their father was and neither did the mothers of these children.
Just watched season 3. And still very genius..and yet the algorithim mentioned the english version which is so bland and feels like a copy cat of the original.
Ours probably seems bland to Americans because we have subtler humour and Americans prefer obvious humour. We also use a lot of sarcasm and irony, which Americans don't really understand as well as we do. It's fine to have preferences. It's just made for different audiences. Also, the English one is the original, the Americans remade it for an American audience and the creators of BBC Ghosts were the executive producers, so it's not like the Americans took the idea without permission. They also credit ours in the opening credits of their episodes.
