This video made me really happy I bought this kayak! I've been told by my local distributors if you see something you like buy it on the spot and don't expect deals this year. Brick and mortar stores are having a heck of a Time getting and keeping inventory in northern Michigan.
I’ve been fishing on the pelican strike 120 for the past 4 years, I love it. It’s super fast and cuts through the water like butter. I highly recommend Pelican. Just upgraded my paddle and it’s even faster. Great Video Aliex!
I ended up selling my little 9.5 Old Town sit in and I miss it. It was a great boat for hitting those little lakes in the back country. This would be a good substitute. The Compass has that same front cargo net. It is extremely versatile. Much better than just a hatch.

For a small pond like you are on or a creek I believe you found a gem for just about anyone to fish out of at a great price range. However to take it inter coastal fishing where there is any type of boat traffic or off the beach into the ocean, absolutely not. I'm a big component of you get what is right for the situation. Alex you should really check out the Lifetime Yukon and the Lifetime Teton kayaks. I just bought one of the Yukons on sale for $399 and have had it out 2 times now each time for about 6 hours. I like the Yukon much more then the Vibe Yellowfin I have which is the 10 foot version. It's a lot more stable boat boat. I can stand on it and also get up to the front hatch without any trouble. The hull designs are a lot different the vibe well it's almost more like an upside down triangle and the Yukon has the tri hull design so it's not so tippy. The Vibe also has a lot of flex in the deck ( you can push it down just by pressing on it with your hand) the Yukon does not do that. I also think the Yukons seat is a lot more comfortable. You get the same seat on the Teton. Honestly for the money they are awesome kayaks.
I've got one of the vibe yellowfins the 10 foot version. It's an ok kayak. But believe it or not I just bought a kayak made by Lifetime called the Yukon. It's one of there new fishing kayaks. It's 11 foot 6 inches long, 32 inches wide about 75 pounds that may be with the seat in not sure. And it will carry I think 375 pounds. They retail for $530 but I got mine on sale for $399. And to be honest I like the Yukon a lot more then the Vibe. It tracks a lot better and seems to be a lot more stable. Much different hull design between the two. I can even stand on it without any trouble and I can also climb to the front and get in the hatch if I want to. It's also faster. I've also noticed that the deck does not really flex on the Yukon but the deck on the Vibe flexes just by pushing on it. The Yukon seat is also more comfortable. But if your looking for a 10 foot boat there's also the Lifetime Teton. Can find them for $329 on sale. Checked one out in Dicks sporting goods looks like a nice kayak.
