For anyone wondering, they do indeed make stretchers for guys Blob's size. We once had a guy who weighed 840lbs come into my ER and, while not easy, we got him onto a bed. And he came in by ambulance.
Wow that's amazing. How did they get him in the ambulance, with a forklift? But all joking aside I recall years ago a medical professional said with obseity becoming more of a problem some people are too big to fit into current medical devices so we will have to start making larger devices (unless people stop becoming so overweight).
For anyone wondering what happens after they die. At least where I'm from. We pick them up in minivans where they barley fit. Loading and unloading with nothing but will power.

I liked this movie it's seriously underrated. The only thing I have a problem with is the handling of Ryan Reynold's character as Deadpool.

This was a *great* character scene. They did the Blob really well. He was actually a little likable too.
I think the best part is that they made it entirely believable that Blob could be a legitimate opponent for Wolverine - which he was in the comics - versus just being grotesquely fat man.

@@benji285 I think it depended on who was doing the writing. During most of Claremont's run, the claws couldn't cut Blob. Something about his skin being extra tough and soft/squishy so he'd absorb the blow instead of being cut.

I know it's the entire joke, but I love how Logan made three remarks about the guy's weight (fat-Fred, tattoo, 'slim') -- but it was something he said correctly that Fred misheard which sent the guy over the edge.
The visual of Logan't claws poking out of the boxing gloves is actaually SO cool

As someone who used to be quite large and was insecure about it. I find this scene quite positive.
His size is played for laughs, sure, but he's shown as still being a good fighter on top of being super-durable. And his character is more than just "lol he's fat". If you'd done HALF the shit his team did and then had to live with it? You'd want some kind of coping tool too!
He moves lightly so he obviously is not out of shape either.

And even though it was a terrible excuse for Deadpool, I absolutely loved the concept of this movie's Weapon 11... just the idea of a Frankenstein's Monster of a Mutan was so awesome.
It just sucks that instead of having it be a new character all together, they tried to pass it off as the Merc with a Mouth.
I love this movie too. The dynamic between Logan and Victor was perfect. In my head canon Weapon 11 is a clone and the real Wade Wilson is out there waiting to become Deadpool. Since Logan, we know that the mutants that Stryker recruited were all cloned anyway, it fits.

You know if The Blob was an actual boxer, he could be the one to break Floyd Mayweather's winning streak. (If the blob and Floyd Mayweather was in a cameo boxing match in one of the previous X-Men movies).

I’d argue that movies like this one were always good, folks just couldn’t appreciate them at the time because they wanted something like “Infinity War”. The portrayal of Deadpool scarred this movie beyond recovery. Especially with Deadpool being at the end of the movie, it’s what you’re left with to remember.
In defence of the sucky deadpool, I'm pretty sure the idea was that after this he would be like the comic book deadpool- he had a mouth at the end and he looks at the audience - obviously they never did that and he had dumb powers but still.
