Check out "the 12 grapes of luck" a spanish tradition at midnight. You eat a grape with each of the 12 rings of the bell or clock chime at midnight.. Im guessing thats why there was a countdown in screen from midnight. Happy New year to you and John, Gio and Mia. John in Brighton, uk.
haha oh no! I have the same nespresso machine & it was bothering me you couldn’t figure it out 😂 you have to push in the water container to lock it and press the long narrow button behind the 2 buttons (the one you were trying to press at first) to turn it on, then you press the button you were pressing last! Hope that somewhat made sense for next time! 😊 happy new year!
Didn't realize that flight attendants aren't given meals on flights. They should feed you! It's bad enough that you don't get paid until the door closes!! Oh, did that guy ever call Stephanie that she gave her number to at that restaurant one time? 😉💞🤗 Happy New Year 2022! Hope this year is brighter then last!!!! 🔔🎇🎊🎆🎉
Happy New Year! I found your channel a week ago and I have been enjoying all of your content! You and your family are so cheerful and lovable. Such great energy.
after midnight they eat (or swallow) one grape each second for twelve times. (hence twelve seconds). it brings good luck. They sell canned seedles grapes (12 of them) at the supermarket for that purpose.
As a travel vlogger all of my plans are on hold until late 2022 due to how contagious this virus is . The most medical /travel insurance in Canada have Strict criteria’s and exclusions., It’s not worth the hassle. Have a fantastic year of traveling and be safe.
Happy New Year!!! About the clock, every 12 sounds you have to eat a grape, if you eat all 12 it brings luck in the New Year. Its a tradition. Also Happy New Year to John and the dogs. So nice to see you go to Europe and visit all the amazing cities! And yesss, a love panettone its a South European cake. All the best for 2022 from Rotterdam, The Netherlands
Happy New Year to you, John, Gio and Mia. How exciting you got to bring in the New Year overseas. The delay in the fireworks is called “the bells” in Scotland. The 12 church bells means it’s midnight. When you hear a Brit referring to “the Bells” that’s what theyre talking about.
Miami's airport is huge. I remember when it had its own aircraft graveyard, lots of old 707s and 720s just parked not used. Very very nice. Please keep coming out with more vlogs!!
Such a great Christmas for you, John and the furbabies!!!...and already plans for an exciting 2022 for you and vicariously for us too!!...lol!!...wishing you, John, Mia and Geo a healthy, safe and prosperous New Year 2022!!
Hi I am a nurse from Sydney Australia and I’m home from work with covid binging your vlogs lol I love panettone I make bread and butter pudding with it . Thanks for the great footage xox
Before you push one of the little round buttons, you have to turn the power on and let it heat up for about 15 seconds. The power button is just behind the two little round buttons . Next time….. lol. Thank for the great video.
Thanks for a great little video. At the end the countdown of 12 is because the Spanish 12 Grapes. Spaniards eat 12 grapes when the clock strikes midnight on New Year's Eve. As the tradition goes, believers eat 12 grapes at midnight, one for each month of the year. It is done traditionally every year and is known as the 12 grapes
Happy New year Francesco. Be very pleased to show you Cava wineries, actually living about 15 minutes away if you have a day over in Barcelona. Greetings from Sitges
Just started watching your videos really enjoy them love aviation as I am retired Navy working on on flight deck of several aircraft carriers.Very professional,,
John I'm with you, New Years is one of my least favorite holidays too. And Francesco being alone on New Years is no biggie, you have your Sweetie at home, you're healthy (a commodity now adays), and you are living your best life. Can't wait to see your vacation trips. And the Italy trip is a good change you don't want to be on a ship right now, Way too much COVID making the rounds.
Spain for New Years! How exciting!!! I was very much hoping that we would see you on our flight out of Tampa today. However when we heard that after Christmas there might be further restrictions in London we decided not to go. And since you are returning from Spain you most likely would not be working anyway. May your 2022 be awesome! Enjoy your channel take care! Be well!
I’m appalled that you plan to go to Italy during the omicron surge. A friend of mine who is a diplomat with the State Department, cancelled his January business trip to Rome and will be going later on. You must postpone your trip too! I mean it. Better safe than sorry!
Happy New Year Francesco! Being by yourself for New Years wasn’t so bad, especially when you’re visiting Madrid. For New Years my boy and I went to MIAMI!!! I LOVE MIAMI. It’s BEAUTIFUL!!! The beach was AWESOME. Vibes were friendly. And people were not afraid to have fun. We danced, drank, swam, ate, boated. It was great!!! Just got back today. Feliz Anos Francesco, Jon, subscribers!!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR FRANCESCO, JOHN, GIO and MIA!!! Looking forward to all of the upcoming vlogs and adventures in 2022. 🎈🎊🎶💜 So proud of you Franceso for not giving up on popping open that bottle🍾👍🏾😅 Take care all💜😉
Happy New Year! Here in Vancouver, 🇨🇦 there is an Italian grocery store called Bosa Foods and every Christmas they are packed to the rafters with all different kinds of panettone and pandoro. They had the exact same one that you bought. The man there explained that panettone is a cross between bread and cake and he has used it to make French toast. He said pandoro is more like a cake texture. All the best to you for a wonderful 2022! 🎉🎊
Well, Happy New Year to and John!! I do hope you two will see many more New Year celebrations to come. You trip here to Madrid looked nice. Were your flights full going over and coming back? Hahahaha, it is nice working in Business Class on the international flights spoiling the passengers and then turning off the cabin lights and making them go to sleep!!🙂 I hope your crew was fun to work with. And you are right it is nice to work an international trip on holidays to pick up some nice extra pay.🙂
Happy New Year Francesco! I am so glad you and John liked everything and your Spain layover was nice and Stephanie was able to join you on the phone she is so nice. As for the Panettone you have to make french toast with it its delicious.

I have been a flight attendant for the past 28 years, now retired however I find you absolutely interesting and fabulous
The PO box shows how kind people are, and we should realize there is much more good than bad in this world.
The 1 - 12 on the screen is because in Spain you have to eat a 12 grapes at New Year for good luck and then everyone cheers!
Nice that you had your friend to celebrate with you, especially once you got that champagne oven :-). That was a VERY slow countdown to New Years.
