Muscles in the fingers? The fingers are controlled by the muscles in the for arm like a puppet.. As Pepe suggested I wouldn't mess around with that drill too much... Maybe a couple of minutes. I believe composer/pianist Shuman injured his hands trying to do too many finger exercises and even used weights and pulleys.
He"s no Tom Cruise so why is he wearing Hanes underpants or something similar while giving a personal guitar lesson? Very very unprofessional and rude. He is a great player but is also quoted as saying that playing classical guitar is very easy. Probably 99 % of professional know this is nonsense, including David Russell, Liona Boyd, Andres Segovia etc. The lack of pants is also arrogant, typical "men" type behavior which is offensive to women and sensible men. Trump type behavior.
Older men, always need to fiddle, young women, it's stronger than them. He likes to be touch but apart from having fun it is useless he takes advantage of the young woman because she is pretty. That is not very nice.
It sounded like her father was present, in the room, videotaping the lesson. He also served as interpreter from time to time. Pepe is innocent. So is his student and her escort.
