- Here is my tier list ranking of every movie franchise I have ever seen! I am surprised that I have never made this video until now, but with the release of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One, now feels like the right time. Find out my favorite movie franchises of all-time starting now…
SOME RULES FOR MY TIER LIST:
- I only included movie franchises with 4 or more movies
- I only included movie franchises where I have seen every single movie in the franchise (X-Men being the exception-I haven’t seen Dark Phoenix but have seen all the rest)
- I am sure I forgot some movie franchises that I have seen, but hey what can ya do!

I'm a big fan of fiction, magic and fantasy so Harry Potter, Marvel and DC top my favorite movie franchises.

Awesome tier list ranking. The MCU is my favorite franchise too. Yeah it's not the most consistent and it's hard to judge movie franchises based on consistency. I usually judge franchises based on what I'm passionate about so yeah the MCU is my favorite.
Toy Story and MI are S tier imo. I’m willing to give Toy Story 4 the benefit of the doubt because it’s still a good movie and the first 3 are just amazing. And for MI I’m willing to overlook MI not being up to snuff for the rest of the great franchise.
I’d personally drop Indy down it just never stuck with me and I never got the feeling “Wow, these are the greatest movies ever I’m watching right now”

Glad someone else loves Pirates of the Caribbean At World's End and the first two Hobbit movies. Also they should have just done a trilogy for Pirates of the Caribbean. However, I like Jurassic Park The Lost World and I would put the John Wick movies in A or S tier. Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings I'll never get sick of and they stand the test of time. Star Wars is my overall favorite franchise especially with the video games and the tv shows.

The Bourne 5 are some of my favourite films they are a clear A tier for me

Jurassic park should be a standalone movie, though i enjoy the lost world.
Fun! You should include Transformers, Matrix, Ocean’s, Terminator, Aliens, Despicable Me, and Shrek.
There have been a ton of franchises over the course of the years- both high quality ones and low quality ones. But I personally believe the Scream franchise has to be my favorite franchise ever at this point in time. It’s one of the most consistent and engaging franchises ever and I personally think there is not one bad Scream film- even Scream 3 was decent for me. But I absolutely adore the MCU, Star Wars, Rocky, and the Harry Potter franchises respectively.
TOP 5 for me 1. MCU 2. LORD OF AND HOBBIT 3. HARRY POTTER 4. STAR WARS 5. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

Mostly agree. SW top, without it, no other franchises (except horror) would exist. MI and JW, S tier for me.
I loved Creed 3 to be honest as I felt the main opponents in the first two movies were weak characters learned very little about Connolin and Drago was in the shadow of his father whereas with Damien we got good character development shame the trailers revealed too much

I agree, Harry Potter is the most consistently great movie series of all time. Probably my favorite! But the Wizarding World franchise does get brought down a bit by the Fantastic Beasts movies.

If you’ve seen all three Karate Kid movies and Cobra Kai I’d say that counts, we don’t need to talk about Part 4 or the reboot. But for me it’s either A or S tier.👍🏼
i love the fast movies. I would have them in B tier on my list. Also toy story 4 isn't all that bad. Not bad enough to drop from S to B

I think that No Way Home and Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 3 can stand as part of the Infinity Saga post-endgame and not much of a part of the Multiverse Saga with Kang.

Jurassic Park should be at least B-tier. The only stinkers are the last two. Jurassic 1 is a classic. Jurassic 2, 3, and 4 were still fun. Hence, B-level.

Love the list Chris!! However for me I gotta go MCU B tier, outside of like 5 MCU movies they are all very formulaic and generic and downright boring that there is no way it goes above, Star Wars, Harry Potter, etc. It's not really close imo, but I still love the list!
I agree! They have really gotten so formulaic that some of the older ones aren’t that rewatchable to me. I also think the Multiverse Saga isn’t great so far…

I have only seen 4 Halloween movies and 1 Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie, so they were not included on this list as prefaced in the opening of the video with the rules I set

I think putting Fast and Furious on F tier is too harsh, I mean most of the movies are pretty trash but not all of them. Fast 3 was good, 5 was good and so as 7.

This makes me see how mid movie franchises are now mostly because of modern day blockbusters (fallen kingdom, dominion, Rambo last blood, creed iii, modern day X-men, that AWFUL NEW DIE HARD)
Zack Snyder’s League is better than anything in the MCU though the MCU is great

I have only seen the first Jaws and will probably keep it that way for the foreseeable future 😅
@FilmStocked Jaws 2 is overhated. In no world is it better than the first movie, but Roy Scheider gives it his all, the score is great despite John Williams not returning, and the shark is pretty menacing (yes it's nonsense, but it's better than the other sequels)

Jurassic Park is one of the best movies ever. Lost World and Jurassic World are both great. JP3 and Fallen Kingdom are extremely over hated, I still find them both fun and entertaining. Dominion is complete trash and I never want to see it again
