There is a way to install a new DNA switch with race mode to have a safe way to shut of TC and ESC, I did this to my 2019 Giulia Ti and it works great, I can provide details if you're interested
so funny thing about that, I’ve ordered the part twice from Mopar and have all the cables and software ready to go. problem is they keep sending me the new version of the dna knob, which has a different plug from the 2017-2019 MY version. both have 2 different part numbers, both part numbers ordered and the same new version came in. waiting to hear back from Mopar before i spend the money again thru eurocompulsion
@@AHMoss I bought mine through Eurocompulsion and had a great experience there, good luck with getting the MOPAR refund. Looking forward to tracking mine for the 1st time after quarantine is over and we're back to normal. Stay safe!
I agree with you , love the car , I drive a 2018 Giulia with few modifications from madness autowork, the car drive amazing, no problem, funny to drive and best handling car I have ever drive
awesome drive...I am so on the fence with getting this car or getting the new Genesis G80 2021 when it comes out. I guess it will be whether I want a total driving experience, or the "technology" of the new G80...I'm still waiting for the Alfa Romeo Sport to come into the dealership to test drive. I'm pretty sure after I test drive it, I will just love the drive and immediately get it.
if you plan to keep the car for a while, yes. K&N makes a good drop in replacement that can be cleaned and reused, saves money in the long run and breathes a little better
Nice video! I’m looking for a car for both daily and track, and this video will help my decision a lot! How was the heat management from your experience with it? Any brake fade/heat soak/over heating? And how was its consumption on pads? Thank you!
So far 4 track days deep and pads are still running strong. We did boil the fluid a bit and ran into brake fade problems on the first track day but otherwise solid car for the track. No heat soak, car’s stock I’d be concerned if there was any such problems.
I looked a Giulias for a while before getting my A4. It just seemed like the right car for me except for one thing, reliability. Coming from a 335i 6MT, I didn't want a want to get another car that would be stuck in the shop for weeks. The Guilia looks incredible though inside and out. The A4 just lacks the character I enjoyed in the BMW, it can perform but it's just too sterile. Does your Giulia have the adaptive suspension and LSD?
Take this from a person who will NEVER have a personal car outside an Audi or a Porsche, but when it comes to reliability the only reason why the USDM Alfa Romeos suffered (exception of the 4C) is because they were rushed into market and dealt with a slew of updates and TSBs. Unfortunately that leaves a bad taste in peoples’ mouths and Alfa’s prior history doesn’t help. Late 2018s and the 2019s have been solid, and so far about as reliable as any other car in their class. That said, we opted for a regular Ti Sport, I’m dying to try one with the Adaptive Suspension & LSD though, I bet it just adds to the fun!
@@AHMoss That's what I noticed too, it ways mainly 2017s that had issues but the 2017s were the only ones in my budget. What's the aftermarket like for these cars? Do you plan on making it like the A4 as far as track readiness goes?
The aftermarket sucks for now, but it really all hangs in the brand’s success to be honest. I’m not entirely sure when, but eventually this car will also be stripped & modified for track use only. The A4’s still barely halfway there so that’s the focus for now.
@@AHMoss What more do you want to do with the A4? I've been wondering if the S4 sport diff could work on the A4. I got a 034 rear swaybar which added a bit more rotation in the rear but I'm curious to see how the sport diff would change the balance of the car. You've been pushing the B9 A4 platform like no one else so I'm excited to see what you'll do with the Giulia!
The A4 still has a long road to go for me. Currently we’re going to start the brake ducting project and get more cool air on the brakes. We’ll probably end up swapping out suspension for a tailor made setup with carefully springs and MCS shocks. Eventually the car will part ways with its interior, get a roll cage & harnesses. And in the very end, full aero and flattened belly to see just how much of a race car we can make out of it.
Man your comment about the traction control is enough for me not to purchase. I’m surprised by that. I will not own a car that doesn’t let me do what I want with it. Bummer.
@@AHMoss Sorry, I don't have the strength to go through the video again to highlight all the irrelevant stuff. Suffice it to say I just muted it and then quit.
Every car is a track car, and this car on this street is nothing new to youtube. In its stock form what it can do on track is the reason I made this video. Appreciate the input!
We love ours and will be buying all our cars from you!
As always, you’re awesome man thank you for the kind words!

it’s definitely one of the absolute best driving cars out there. i’m sure you’ll end up falling in love
Is the aftermarket intake filter worth it?

I own a misano blue ti sport but never had the opportunity to put it on a track. Would love to experience that

FYI - 3700 lbs. give or take 100 lbs. depending on options.

You need more seat time brakes are drive by wire not luxary brakes cars is perfect when you know what ur doing
thanks, i’d hope that comment comes from
someone with a respectable amount of seat time.

It does suck not being able to take that off but hats off to the car for being one of the best all around set ups

lol ok
The 4-cylinder Ti Sport IS NOT a track car, so evaluate it on the street. Want something more track focused? Quadrifoglio.
