@jumpiestaman100 yeah the muskets themselves rely on your opp a lot more as you'll get maximum advantage from max going 2nd, going first you use muskets to go into fiendsmith plays. The unchained part is the same as in any fiend deck, Once you've done your fiendsmith combo you go yama, which searches shavara, you then work your way to ddd high wave king, unchained rage into sp during opps turn.
So basically if you link into the vrains into Max, your opponent cannot activate cards or effects in response to Max’s effect resolving? Am I understanding that correctly?
@samanderson1188 correct as its on summon effect of max, so the part where it says "opp can't activate cards or effects when a link monster is summoned this way" So works the same as magical meltdown did for fusion summons and on summon effects that they had
@lolsucks3599 it's actually really fun, you can play loads of great board breakers and anti meta cards to one punch OTK your opp. I've just got my list together and it's so fun.
Need more test hands and in-depth combos.
Like the Fiendsmith part is easy, but the Musketeer and Unchained aspects are a bit confusing.

It's great because you can use other effects like magical musket quick plays, traps, and they can't respond to those either
I bought the new exodia support cause I like the old school cards more but probably the deck is still bad.
