hell yes, I was super into all these bands in the 90s... just saw obituary recently and they fucking made my eyes bleed.. so good still I would murder several people to see decide live
My favorite Deicide album. Deicide-Deicide. We all have a top few albums we love and this is one of mine. Skin Chamber - Wound as well. Skin Chamber evolved into the band Controlled Bleeding (or vice versa).
@@Kriszg667 Legion didn't grasp my soul like the title track Deicide burned a hole in it. lol. Homage For Satan is one hell of a song though. I bought them all early on right when they came out. Once Upon the Cross. Buying that with a big label across it covering the artwork. those were the days.
Dominus I like deicide new stuff but nothing comes close to that sheer ferocity and speed and rawness of their first self titled album a total crusher has to be my favourite this song has to be the most scary song off the whole album doesn’t scare me as a matter of fact I love it
Hell yeah!! A total classic!!! \\M// , Memories of Entombed, Malevolent Creation, the 1st Fear Factory Album, and Obituary ( cause of death) are returning. I like " Amon, feasting the beast" probably the most. I followed them up through the " Legion Album". That was the better version of " dead by dawn" in my opinion. " Sacrificial Suicide" is another masterpiece.
We graduated in 98! I remember in art class in high school i drew a charcoal picture of the cover of that album. I’m pretty sure the art teacher threw it away 😕 we were in the same art class and we had to paint a soda can the way we wanted and give it a brand name. And sporto painted the can black with blood dripping from the top lid. And named it bloody chunks. With the slogan on the side “ bloody drink with chewy bloody pieces inside”
Awesome review guys...the greatest who’ve ever done it...HAIL DEICIDE ...HAIL LORD BENTON...in order- Deicide, Legion, OUTC, SOTL, Insineratehymn, In torment in Hell, Scars of the Crucifix, Stench of redemption, Till death do us Part , To hell with God, In the minds of evil, Overtures of Blasphemy...
NOW my friend's!! THAT'S what we re talking about!! Great great great reaction my fellow metal brain's❤ I got that album for my 16th birthday in July 92 by my parrent's🤘🤘 I've got all the album's untill the album In Torrement in Hell, after that, it get's a bit borring for my tast. My favorit albums are the first 4 albums 🤘🤘😊
Hey there! Can you please react to Sunless Rise - Awakening? It's technical melodic death with astonishing musicianship, I bet it won't dissapoint you!
I bought a Necronomicon online , about 5 years ago. I got it for 2500 dollars. The whole thing was just wicked , the way it was made. But honestly, it was a bad idea. Wierd shit came with that book. Wierd evil shit. I got it because of a show I saw on TV, and I dint believe all that bullshit. Well it's real.
Man I'm just sitting back listening to a lot of these older bands, never got much into the whole Swedish bands, too gimmicky I guess. Remember Death (rip chuck), Obituary, Pestilence, etc so many great American bands.
I miss that whole era of the Florida death metal scene so many great bands.
Wish I was alive then only discovered them and extreme metal in general a few years ago I’m only a teenager

@@gman0047 Well, I'll just say: "For I am the Deicide, "Dominus", what can you do..? lol
I love your knowledge of the evil dead trilogy
Prob the 10th time I’ve watched this review and I gotta say that ‘we are’ @ 5:44 is brutal as hell. Glen is unmatchable.
Loved Glenn Benton's vocals. Legion is probably their best album🤘🤘🤘
tone 503 yes but I think once upon the cross is the best album
Legion
I agree, once upon the cross was great
Serpents of The light is my favorite...

I wore my tomb of the mutilated shirt on my junior year high school yearbook photo.. It was 1997 though

Bo Thorvardarson The new album is pretty good bud check it out
Deicide and Legion were their peak for me
Serpents of the light?
Serpents of the light is like a hits compilation, every song kills
Once Upon the Cross is pretty much Deicide S/T 2.0 though, dont forget that gem. Legion was on its own league.
Those backing vocals are gnarly.
🥶🥶

TAKE ME Mephistophelese!!!
This!
Underrated song
my nerd was strong in this one...
And we never forget The Almighty SLAYER(Cali)
Pantera fans fuck yeah thought I'd throw it out there lol and good reaction
That tone gives me the chills.
I like Glen's vocal cadence on this song.
SLAYER- Season In The Abyss..
fuck yeah ive been into metal for years cant belive i never heard of deicide,
fucken way better than morbid angel etc from that era
Check out Dyscarnate - Iron strengthens iron and/or Backbreaker, heavy shit! =)

You guys need to react to any song from the Legion record. Deicide's version of tech death.
That is a brilliant idea 💡 we know their whole catalog, so it really wont be a reaction. But more a review
@@BowsersreactionPit IN HELL I BURN!!
Add it
Sporto SP-01 the greatest most unholy tune of all time.
deicide is older than dead by dawn

the best real satanic death metal band
HEELLL YYEEEEAAAHHHH!!!!
Well of course they're fans of Evil Dead... would be odd if they weren't.
I don't care what anyone says, Deicide died when the Hoffman's left.
Nah
Agreed!
