In some scenarios you do need a Generator with a lot of power. This is not made for small Motorhomes. This is made for large motorhomes with Refrigerator, Washing Mashine, Tumble dryer, Microwave oven, Air conditioner and whatever you can imagine. I have 6 Solar cells on my roof and a total of 1000Ah in Batteries.Sometimes it's just not enough. Due to the limited space on the roof it is also not possible to add more solar cells. I need an additional generator in my Motorhome to power everything. most of the time I just need the it to recharge the Batteries to be able to run on the inverter for some time. You maybe just don't have such a scenario.
