Had no idea what imwas getting into andmdidmt have high hopes cause, well im super critical, but great job guys. The audio is great, your voice is great- could easily almost be mistaken for thom, drums good and he did a great job on the guitar....with his head down, he could almost be mistaken for Johnny Greenwood himself lol but yeah totally blown away at how this almost sounds identical to the original.
It's sad there aren't a lot of good covers of the new Smile album on here. But this one's EASILY the best. Fantastic job.
I guess it’s because the arrangement this time is more complex, and it takes longer for folks to figure out how to relive what’s in the studio version.

Excellent cover! Kinda makes me wanna try it out myself but the drum part’s a little scary. Really nice production too.
Update: I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing but I love it. I know the main guitar parts but there are some that I have completely forgotten about. Bass will probably be easier, drums are still scary

How do you even manage to record this song without playing it live? Can’t imagine how you could get the timing so good
That was my main fear when we set out to do it! 🤣 we used a live version as a reference and used a couple little click-ins as cues for the chord changes in the first half.
Skinner is absurd on this and thanks to Joe, I'm finally digesting how creative his, as well as of course, Jonny and Thom's parts are. Utterly perfect Joe and Taka!

I think he has his own tone of voice, which i like. But his ability to replicate thoms modulation and pitches is just wow...
I thought I had opened the original song, because the voice is the same as Thom Yorke's XD

It's funny, I found it the most "Radiohead" song of the whole The Smile repertoire.
@ don't know about radiohead type song, but Bending Hectic sounds great in debut version. In studio i don't like the the distortion effects of guitar and thudding drums, so i enjoy it only in first part of a song.
