Hey guys im not 100% sure but i think you found a leafy sea dragon skeleton due to the long snout. If so you are extremely lucky very rare to find one. Love this raw episode about responsibilities to family always in back of mind and just doing what you love and having the correct gear to do it,doesnt need to be the most expensive but has to be right for you.
Wow, impressive 4×4 driving skills. I wasn't shure about getting a 4B for my trip but im definitely getting one so i can get those remote spots. Thanks again for your great content 👊
Loved thisvideo guys as it shows your view of this part of WA. Again weve put this on our bucket list ascwell! And totally agree on the prep and the value of being a good steward with what youve got! That is with your 4wd and recovery gear. Well done for shharingbtgat kind of stuff! Nicecand personal, thx again, phil
Good on you guys for supporting those little community stores! I’ve listened to complaints that a lot of grey nomads will only shop in the big centres but still use & expect facilities to be available to use (free) elsewhere. One lady running a bush servo said that they are the worst for nicking toilet paper! 😄
Hey mate, we're not 100% sure how far north we'll head this year. Would you mind sending us an email to simon@thelifestylepioneers.com and we'll get in touch if we are heading that way.
I definitely appreciate your filming efforts. The drone is great too. We can't do what you can do and love to see the places you go. And always love the cooking bits too. Frypans always last longer if you don't take them to high heat but sometimes you need to of course. Thanks so much Simon and Liz.
first time watcher. that was EPIC. i grew up in Albany (now live in the Kimberly) really enjoyed that episode. we have a 76 as well although its much older, steel dash and no lockers but we have done a fair bit of travelling ourselves. love your work, cheers.
Perfect sandhill climb as well! Tgats why we own and drive 76 series landcruisers! Oh what a feeling! And we love our 76 landcruiser too, phil especially the build! Cant wait to take ours round Australia too! Phil
Great video! If you love your car now call into reaper performance diesel on your way through Perth and get a clutch and tune package, it will blow your mind
Hello guys I’m sure you’ll be thinking about the weight of things but it is proven that Tefal/non stick pans are toxic especially once they are worn out and scratched and used at high heats. You should buy either solid teknics or stainless steel. Solid teknics are single sheet iron and will last a life time. They can’t go in dishwasher or be soaked cause of rusting but in our experience you don’t need to as you season them with ghee (which you can make in your thermomix, I noticed you have one and you can use that instead of a pan for your dinners - are you using cookidoo?) Also noticed you’re using a plastic chopping board - again these are proven to break down and put micro plastic into your food when you’re chopping on them. There are lightweight bamboo/wooden chopping boards if you’re thinking about weight and also a good one will last a really long time. Back to the pans - a lot of people are afraid of them cause food can stick to them if not used properly. Mostly you need to use high heat safe cooking oil like ghee or butter. And let the pan heat up properly before you put anything in it. And medium heat is usually all you need with these kinds of pans as they retain so much heat. I’m sure you guys can look into it further I hope you don’t mind me sharing this as it’s for the best health of you guys and your kids. If you would like me to send some awesome cookidoo recipes through to your email please let me know what it is. There are heaps of 30-45min go to recipes I use and would love to see you guys using your thermomix more! Kind Regards Kirrily
Great To see what the beast can do. Simon how did you manage to get Liz too be more involved lately, lol Doing a great job Liz. Love ya content guy's keep it up Cheers, waiting 4 next week. Also great to see the kids enjoying themselves so much 👍👍👍
What a place to camp. Love your videos. That car is incredible. Toyota can’t beat them. I had a HiAce 1985 camper for years. I use to say the only way to kill it was drive it off a cliff. Sold it for someone else to enjoy. Loving your contents. Keep travelling. ❤😊
Hey there. Have you tested the Bluetti with your air conditioner yet? Just wondering if the 200L would run AC and for how long. Just as a back up in case if extreme temps.
That is an awesome camp and adventure alright😅 we have stripes too,😝 unfortunately windows not protected. You left us wanting to see what happened in the dishwasher though😎🥲🤣 I too have never had a kettle in any camper, we use a stainless steel pot and it is so quick! Dual purpose too. 1 cast iron fry pan that has many years of seasoning I couldn’t be without, super easy to clean. If you do go non stick again you might be interested in a ceramic coating as Teflon is an evil substance, (I had better add in my opinion 🫣) looking forward to seeing your next camp 😀
Completely forgot to mention the dishwasher result in the video 😂 It survived! Nothing broken which is nice. We love cast iron too, but unfortunately it's a little heavy and doesn't pack well in a caravan. We're thinking we'll try stainless steel next.
Nice camp. Can’t wait to do the south west ! … Trusty cruiser !! We love ours. Can I recommend,as a backup, Dog and Gun coffee drip filter bags .. sorry I don’t have a discount code 😉 but they are bloody awesome !! Raptor coat in real tree Camo .. 😂 (look up real tree camo if you haven’t seen it)
Thanks so much. We've tried the Dog and Gun bags before, they're not too bad, and definitely a step up from coffee bags, just not as easy to get hold of when you're travelling.
Not sure why u did not PPF the whole caravan and only the windows when ur caravan is $130K + and the tracks ur driving. Done both windows & caravan panels on ours and have already paid for themselves.

Oh, wow. That would be cool if it was. Thanks!
Man, you know as well as I do. You drive around this country for 500 years and still not see it all. Aren’t we lucky😊😎
Absolutely! We'll do our best though
We met a couple in Tasmania who had been travelling full-time for 19 years and still had places they wanted to see.
Wow, impressive 4×4 driving skills. I wasn't shure about getting a 4B for my trip but im definitely getting one so i can get those remote spots. Thanks again for your great content 👊
Ah, cheers mate. Enjoy!

Thanks mate. Every little bit counts, and it's not hard to do.
Your editing is on point guys.
Cheers mate. Much appreciated.
Awesome video guys. You travelling north this dry season? Stop in at Djarindjin Campground. Will give you a discount.

Such a great feeling and such a great car.
Mate check out the webber caserol dishes and fry pans.
Thanks for the tip!
I farmed down there for years. Soft beach usually. So beautiful down there.
Beautiful and rugged! We love it as well, soft sand and all.
I use those coffee bags when away from my rig, use with coffee mate and honey.
Quite nice.😊
Yeah, we don't mind them, but they're no substitute for an espresso!
Great video! If you love your car now call into reaper performance diesel on your way through Perth and get a clutch and tune package, it will blow your mind

Also we live in Margaret River and bought our teknics pans at our local kitchen store Aspenz so while you’re in the area you could drop in there.
Thanks mate, you've got us thinking. Those Solidteknics pans look awesome!
Great video guys. Best pans with removable handles are the Webber BBQ range. They r brilliant. Safe travels.
Thanks, mate. We'll check it out!
We have a Weber fry pan with a removable handle which is a non stick pan
Ah, cool. Thanks. We'll check it out.
Great To see what the beast can do.

Thanks so much. We love it!
Scratches are part of the journey - didn't buy the rig to only stay in Big 4!
💯👊
Loved the beaches in Southwestern Australia...many years ago in small group minibus 2006 (?) travel
It's getting busier but there's still plenty of quiet beaches you can have all to yourself.
Hey there. Have you tested the Bluetti with your air conditioner yet? Just wondering if the 200L would run AC and for how long. Just as a back up in case if extreme temps.
It would comfortably run the AC for about 2hrs depending on condidtions.

So good to see people use what their setup is able to terrain.
Interested in seeing more of this type content. Stay safe from 3037.
Thanks so much. We bought it to use it, not to display it!

Awesome guys so sooooo jealous haha
Cheers!
Hi love your videos. We love our LC76 as well, converted it to 6 speed auto. Great car. PS what did you use for paint protection?
Awesome! We wrapped the car with PPF (Paint Protection Film) from 3M, it's incredible.
You confused me when you said 'landy' which means land rover since before time existed. A land cruiser is a 'cruiser '.
Don't remember saying landy, when was that? It's definitely a Landcruiser.
@@TheLifestylePioneers when you were talking about the property owner. 4:04
Ah, right. Yeah, that's what he called it
do you use 5th gear while towing in the troupie
Sometimes, mainly on the flat
Not sure why u did not PPF the whole caravan and only the windows when ur caravan is $130K + and the tracks ur driving. Done both windows & caravan panels on ours and have already paid for themselves.
We seriously considered it, but it's very expensive. Maybe next time.
Want off-roader, that’s the life
Cheers!
Simeon I understand your dream car, But a probably modified ford ranger would make just the same, Go Ford
But nothings perfect the 3.2 has problems at 80 000kms with cylinder failure and from experience they are quite tough on warranty assistance.
A ranger might have done the job, but it never left me with the feeling this one does!
