WA's True OUTBACK WILDERNESS | Tribute to Denis Bartell OAM

There are a few places in Australia where we discover true outback wilderness. Normally, we seek it out. This time, it found us.
After finishing our Nullarbor crossing, we continued west and found ourselves in WA's outback and on a dirt road 'shortcut'. The best parts of travel are unplanned, and this one is no exception!
Sadly, we lost our mate Denis Bartell not long after arriving in Busselton. Denis was a true pioneer and explorer, inspiring us in our pursuit of outback travel.
