Here is one idea how to press in 4 5 1 vs 3 4 2 1 : the striker number 9 press central defender, the right winger goes to left centreback, right back press left wingback and defensive midfielder is on player between the lines. The right central midfielder play man marking on pivot and left central midfielder and left winger number 11 tucks inside.
Not gonna work nearside CB will offer by dropping deeper move towards the sideline. Which will create too much space for the number 8 to cover both the 6 and 3. They recycle try to penetrate on the other side.
Might have the 9 block the holding midfielder and then the pressure come from a jumping midfielder, but depends a little on what their two forwards are like
@@ModernFootballAnalyst Sound like a good option. Another question, if you have a team playing 3-4-3 and was going up against 3-4-3 and the possibility to "mirror" the structure in the press, would you hold that as a better option than the 4-1-4-1 that you showing above?

What application please.
Tactical board it’s a free website!
But when they attack it turns into a 4-3-3
This doesn't make sense against great sides
