Question about that sway's forward flex, is it still the same as previous models? Where the "innards" of the boot show up behind the cuff. Is it really a big deal? Just wondering.
@@anthonykinoc8715 Yes, still got that forward flex. It depends how far you push the limits. For me, I don't think it'd ever cause issue... but maybe for someone who pushes the skate more.
Great review, sold me on them! I’m confused on my size though, if you guys have any frame of reference. I’ve mainly skated a (US) size 9.5-10 Reign V3 liner in an 8-9 Razors shift boot. I have a wider foot that worked for downsizing but would it be best to move up to the US10-10.5 for the Sagonas? Thanks!
Great video. I'd love to see a comprehensive video comparing weight of a variety of skates. That's one of the biggest factors for me. Sounds like your next project!
Well I don't really think it is hard to beat them skates anyways because 1. it's a super old mold based off a skate that everyone hated back in the day. 2. It's crutched up by stuffing a $250 liner into it.
Well the 908 is based on a old model… the 909 is completely different, I have both the CommunitE 908s and the D. Beers w/ 3.0 souls and they are hella different from the toe to the lace layout, buckle and heel. Also most skates are ‘based’ on a ‘old’ mold, the Sagonas are literally a remake of the thrones (More Mesmer then old throne imo) from what Richard and Sagona said….
wheres the best skate to get some sways? i really want to get back into rollng i quit like 10 years ago when i was diagnosed with leukemia but im just dyin to start skating again!
I've got the Farmer Sway 2's with the Crown liner and I tried heat molding twice and still have a really bad pressure point on my inner left ankle. First was 8 mins at 90C, then 8 mins at 93.3C with a smaller ankle sock folded up over the two ankle bones to push the padding out more. Ended up cutting my session short after 2 hours last night. The liners are perfect with this one exception on one foot. Does anyone have any suggestions before I end up taking a heat gun to the shell? :(
Wassup bro i have a question. I've been wanting to get into inlining again I'm 31 and i haven't skated since the release of the aragon 3 but everything changed a lot since those times but my eye been on the usd sway especially since they look like the thrones. My question is there's the sway 57, 60 and team IV. I don't really know the difference and I don't know which model came out first and what's the latest and I can't find that information anywhere, the youtube timelines are mostly the same when i look up reviews.. my eyes been on the team IV those look so sick. What feed back can you give me
Sway 57 and 60 are almost identical (just different sized wheels... 57mm and 60mm). The Sway team IV is just an older version of the Sway 57. The best model is the Sagona one in this video because of the better liner and new soulkits. 🙂
Have wide feet and was looking to do the same, are these a bit more narrow? I’ve been downsizing a US 9.5-10 Reign V3 liner in a Razors Shift US 8-9 boot and wanting to ride the Sagonas, insight appreciated!
For me clearly better than Them skates. Better soulplate, liner, boot and frame. To be honest it is the first skate, and I tried dozens, where I do not need to change anything. It is just perfect, no matter what you do with them. And how solid they are on any kind of grind or switch-ups is unbelievable. So, thank you USD for this masterpiece and sorry, Jon Julio.
Interesting. I honestly thought the new M12s would have wider soulplates than ....I guess older THEM models. Didn't think they would be the most narrow out of all.
I love how they look man. I got the 909s in size M and I feel them kinda big for a eu43 foot and size S is too small for me even with intuition liners. I had to buy a fat liner and insole to fill the space of the M 909s but now they become heavy. Guys, with the new sways, Do you think are we able to downsize to the 41-42 shell using that slim liner? I think that sways are light skates so maybe its time for a change and say goodbye to the 909 for the sake of 275mm foot lenght people. Again, I really love how the sways looks with the new white soulplate. Cheers!
Nice work sir, making use of the new space and tech!! I like the attention to detail in the comparison, and making clear that bigger souls aren't better. You have to be neutral when it comes to these matters. Cheers!!!
It's not exactly wrong to say the Aeons don't come with a raised heel but it's not right either. Anyhow, thanks for all you're doing, it's needed and appreciated.
@@tobyschnabelhuber the myfit second skins that come with them! I took the shock absorbers out and placed my go to footbed under the liners, eliminates any of my foot movement in the skate to avoid toe bashes

In my experience /w the Sway Team IVs the Stock Cuff Bolt/Strap Receivers needed to be upgraded immediately
Felt experimental. Might delete later.

I like this. Video and skate 😍👍
Loved it, brilliant editing
Succesfull experiment I would say. Really enjoyed this format!
Cheers!
love the format. Perfect mix of geeking out and basic info.

dam you gotta do a video for each skate that comes out like this, this is money
Very cool format! Loved the first couple of minutes, really slick.
Loved my Montre Sways, super keen to try these now!
Top video, love the format. Also...need one of those Loco caps!
video format was cool
LOVE my Sways!! Loved them even more with MyFit second skins In em. Those shells are legit with those liners !!!
Are your second skin liners the same size as the boot? I want to buy some but afraid they would leave a lot of room in the skate.
Amazing video love the editing

Really like this idea! Like the graphics and the jokes too. Why are reviews so serious all the time! More of these!
Unrelated question, do you sell the black and green Loco hats that you're wearing in the video?
Would like to see more vids like this, m12s, mesmer thrones, ect ect.

Can wheels be switched out to be used on one distance trails, streets etc…?
How would you exactly describe the color of the Skate, Maroon?
This video deff helped me make the decision on these, I’m buying them
Can you recommend the insoles with more cushion ??! Please

Overall I'd say the Them mould is a bit more solid. It's all price-relative though.

@@Sparkmovement You know the 909 is a brand new mold from top to bottom?

Really liked this format! Very helpful 👍🏻 Able to share how much this Sway weighs?

Is the liner sized the same as the boot?
Thinking about getting this. Which size would be best for a 260mm foot?
Would like to see you skate the FR UFR with Flat Frame. Really curious what’s your opinion if you skate the skate completely
This is the type of content we want to see

Thought i was watching Francis Cade for a second there!
Does anyone know some very light 3WD skates??
The Sways are definitely high on my list of skates to try.. the Sagonas look great
And now I’ve tried them I can say that trying to downsize with my fat feet was a bad idea 😅🤦♂️

I always wanted to try the sway boot and 2nd Skin liners. I think these will be the one, just need the funds. 😢😂
He put them skates on soo easily. It takes me some squeezing to get in my cults. Once in them soo comfy

Are these the same liner that come with aeons
The 2nd skin comes on some Aeon models yes (but not all). Juts lookout of 'MyFit 2nd skin' in the product description when you are shopping skates.
Shoutout TriTri🙌

Is there a lot of difference between these and the Farmer Sway 2's?
The farmer has a Myfit Crown liner instead of 2nd Skin. Other than that pretty much the same
What's the difference between the two liners in terms of fit?
Crowns are fatter (so in theory in that boot should feel a bit tighter)
@@LocoSkates thank you! Have no idea about how liners fit and there's plenty on the market. Looking for more comfort for wide feet

I don’t think you’d be able to downsize into the 41-42 that comfortably if you are a 43. Size is very true on these
I’ve got a 275mm foot and the size 43 sways felt really big even with the basic liner which is quite a lot thicker than a 2nd skin.
