So nice to see that whoever did the restoration on those cabins took a lot of pride on their work. Thank you to all the volunteers who made this happen.
I camped there about 10 years ago, before volunteers cleaned it up. The larger building was a filthy mess. A bright green suit coat ("blazer") was in the closet. The smaller building contained a pink painted bunkbed for children. A bird had nested in the shower's soap dish. The circa 1950 Jeep pickup in the wash was there then
another fun explore you two ....love to see people restoring and preserving History ...you don't see that a lot but when you do it restores your faith in humanity .....I bet those mines would be fun to explore......keep'em coming and see you guys in the fall
Thank you Jeff! It is getting farther a fewer between, but it does give you pause and fill you with pride that there are good people doing good things and preserving our past! We are just itching to get into a mine again. We got some fun stuff coming out soon!
I am having a hard time posting. I am happy to learn that there are people who give their time, their energy, and their resources, especially to benefit others. Thank you for sharing this with us, Andrea and Steven. I hope you received the envelope I sent, to the mailing address you posted.
The volunteers do amazing work don’t they? As we are traveling we’ve just had all our mail forwarded. Should arrive this Friday. Thank you for whatever it is. Really excited
Thank you 🙏 for your donation Rhonda. We really appreciate it, your comments and your support. You always have such positive energy towards our channel. Thank you ❤
@@PinInTheAtlas I appreciate all you both do... including the time, energy, traveling, research, and other time consuming *inconveniences... I am sure your gas bills must be staggering. YIKES ... Thank you, for your interesting, informative, and topnothch videos, and have a relaxing evening, Andrea and Steven. We are very grateful. 🛣☀️🤗💛👏🏻👏🏻
Howdy! I really enjoy your channel especially the mining areas of Mojave and Nevada. I saw Box Elder S.D...Im from Sturgis SD...born in Deadwood and living in Orange County Ca. Your videos are so genuine and well done! Keep them coming!
Thanks Wade. Glad you are enjoying them. We travel all over hoping to catch interesting history. Love Deadwood and the whole Black Hills area. We’ve filmed several things. Check out our SD play list. It even has a mine and ghost town 😃
@@PinInTheAtlas You have to remember to press the shutter-button. You have to remember how to walk into the scene. You have to remember what to say. You have to remember to lock the door. You have to remember not to disclose the name of the cabin. Yeah, I can image every now and then you don't remember to switch on the dang mic :-)
I love your videos have been watching you guys for years now. It seems in the last year your videos seems to be kinda rushed before you would take the time to show us around now it's you see it for a second and that's it hopefully it goes back to way they were before I understand it's not an easy job but it would be nice. This is what all personal property should be like, clean, no idiots and their graffiti. Except for the shot up old truck. This was very enjoyable.
Thanks Lorna and we totally agree 👍

There were some 'irregular' changes in volume here and there.
Yep. We forgot to turn the mics on!

How many snakes did you have to jump over walking around outside?
None. Only ever came across one so far on our explores. Rattle snakes that is.

Not that I'm a stickler for detail, but the flag is folded wrong, the stars ought to be showing.
Didn’t pick that up. Well spotted.
Hi Steve and Andrea - the derelict truck had more bullet holes than Bonny and Clyde's car. I wonder why?
Hhmmm! Strange!
Thanks!
