    Between this and the Cloudboom Strike LS, we are in exciting times for running shoes. Glass half full would say in 5 or so years these type of shoes will be the new Vapor fly and Meta speeds for the general public .
    Great video!

    Adidas has featured this super shoe staring Pharrell holding an Olympic torch. I’m not sure what adidas is gearing this shoe towards. Pharrell collab with adidas is mostly about lifestyle.

    The Head of Product management recently clarified, that the shoe will go the distance easily. BUT they made it specifically to performe the best that one race. He never said it will only last 1 race or a workout. and various people have gotten 100ish miles out of this without any major drawbacks.

  • @Bassgesicht
    @Bassgesicht 4 месяца назад +5

    It was never meant for non-professional runners. They only released it, because they had to in order for it to be allowed in elite races

    Adidas may as well have posted a video putting the shoe on an angle grinder.. kudos on them providing a shoe to someone who is tough on shoes.

    Why do they call it Lightstrike Pro when it's different from Lightstrike Pro?

    • @Runningnomad123
      @Runningnomad123 4 месяца назад +2

      Every manufacturer have different blends/formulas for their midsoles even if the branding is the same. You can look at Lightstrike Pro, ZoomX, Powerrun PB/HG etc as a branding towards the public so it's known what type of quality the midsole has. But it can differ based on usage. Just like milk has different fat percentage. It's still milk whether it has 1%, 3% or 5% fat. It's still milk but the taste differs.

    This is a super BS shoe. Literally single use. The awful durability of midsoles, outsoles, heel lining etc. I’ve had a couple of “super shoes” of different brands. Not worth the hype. Don’t buy it ‼️ I can’t imagine how pissed I’d be, when running a marathon in an unreliable shoe like this
