    Factoring has been something that just never clicked for me. It always seemed like my teachers just assumed I could look at something and instantly know how it broke down, or assumed that factoring was something that came easy to everyone. I am in my freshman year of college and for the first time ever, I feel like I actually understand how to factor polynomials. It has honestly been so frustrating that when I finally got it I almost cried. Thanks for making this video, and I wish I had found it earlier.

I self studied and I've never imagined some of the problems I can't hardly solve in my highschool would be this understandable! Still I'm not confident enough with my math skills but with practice we can go through it all. I recommend practicing algebra and trigonometry not for us to suffer but for us to learn. We'll never know how much we can improve if we'll never try.

Osego is a great GED study tool, but they are failing to go into detailed explanation on how to perform certain mathematical tasks, such as factoring monomials and polynomials. With Onsego, it's just 1 example with vague explanations and barely anything else. This video is a lifesaver. I'm actually starting to get it now. I know the GED test isn't gonna be all polynomials and whatnot, but to be able to get a grasp on something I wasn't gives me a confidence boost in myself. Thank you so much!

    0:19 First before we get to this, I need you to explain why we put what we are doing to this equation in parentheses and placing those parentheses next to the first term... cuz if I don't understand that, how am I to grasp the rest. I need to actually understand what I'm doing not just memorize a procedure, becaust I'm about to get thick in the weeds with manipulating multi-factor polynomials on an employment test and I only vaguely remember this stuff from school 20 years ago...

    • @fainebear
      @fainebear 2 месяца назад +2

      if you multiply the term outside the parenthesis into the terms inside, the answer would be the same as the expression where you didn't factor it
