I’m so sorry to hear that.. Lately I have made some progress, symptoms are still there but more manageable with many improvements. I really have to pace myself & not do too much. But I am doing better than I was… ish. Apologies for the late response. How are you doing now?
@ Yes I was unconscious for 4 of the 10 concussions. First major concussion from snowboarding I was unconscious for 40-50 mins, the other 3 I fainted hitting my head on floor or wall & was unconscious 15-30 mins for each of them.
Hey man. Im really sorry about your struggles. I’ve been going through pcs for 3 years now. I recommend you look into a youtube channel called curalistic. I can’t prove it’s what reduced my symptoms. But, I genuinely believe that jt did. I also recommend you consider working on your posture and find a highly rated chiropractor and physical therapist if at all possible . I’ve learned a lot about concussions and one of the things is that a concussion requires more force than a whiplash. Some people think that the concussion may have healed and the whiplash is what is lingering and causing neurological symptoms. I started trying to be observant of my posture and also started sleeping on the floor because its supposed to be better for the body. Its also supposed to allow for better quality of sleep. Jeremy Ethier has good videos about the posture and you can watch videos about sleeping on the floor. And idk if this is an issue you face but when I don’t get enough sleep its like I have a bad hangover. So, this has really helped to reduce and control that. Honestly so far the things that have helped me most in order of greates symptom reduction have been: 1. Curalistic’s Myofascial Massage 2. Working on my posture and trying to sit down less 3. Chiropractor 4. Learning to belly breathe
Thank you so much for your comment! That really helps. I’ve been going to acupuncture, integrated body work, chiropractic massage, cranial sacral therapy, it helps in the moment but the pain always comes back the next day or a few days later. Meditation & medical Cannabis have been my biggest medicines. That channel really helped! Thanks again for sharing, wishing you healing
George Best you’re very welcome. I wish you the best as well. I appreciate you putting up the video. It helps a lot of people to feel like they are not alone.
Hey man, I've had similar experiences with concussions. They hang with you and change your life. Thanks for sharing your experiences. Hopefully it helps others avoid this.
Keto Diet and Nordic Naturals Fish Oil are what healed me the most but I’m still struggling after 1.5 years. So sorry you’re experiencing this man. It’s really hard
I had a brain hemorrhage in 21 lot of similarities. I used to love going out to eat. The light & noise prevent it. Went to see Lake Street Dive last night, paying for it today…
I completely hear you on this situation, As every single bumo, jaar, or strong motion tends to cause concussions all over again.A hug by a family member who patted my back and neck too hard caused this one. ( day 8) ugh, sux.... It completely sucks so bad. I am hoping you get well so soon. Noise is an awful trigger. And yes, feeling very alone is the worst, when no one hears us and what this does to us.
I had concussion 10 months a go, I tried so many things. But the only thing helps me almost going back to normal life , is (mind eye institute ) in Chicago. They help us!!!!!!!!

@GBwellness well I'm doing ok suffer from siezures now.. they where at bay and not happening ...but since a recent relapse on some booze...my pick was 100 proof vodka for perhaps 15ish years ...I was almost a year sober ....I don't know what came over me in the beginning of june...but I got a bottle ..haha didnt mess around got my hundo proof then started to have siezures again..didn't take my meds while I drank and then boom ..I wake up in the hospital..like what am I doing here..started siezures again.my dad found me at my house unresponsive having siezures ...so I guess I'm realizing. My medicine's definitely more important than I thought it was...and booze is no good for me that's for sure. But my 1 750 bottle was just a glitch in the system..sober again and happy to be still alive.now If I can just wake up , remembering yesterday that be a plus hahaha..maybe nest week hahah
Thank you! Vestibular therapy, kinesiology, occupational therapy, chiropractor, cupping therapy, trigger point acupuncture release, cranial sacral therapy, and psychical exercise has been the most helpful in my recovery the last 4 years.
@@graciegracie Yes I’ve made a ton of changes to my diet over the years.Still trying to find exactly but my body needs but I recently saw a natural path & am currently on a cleaner diet with more protein/veggies/broths & less foods/drinks with cortisol as I was having higher levels which triggers inflammation.
I had menigitis as a baby. I only just realised that is an acquired brain injury. I've had quite a few blows to the head but 2 really bad ones. I find it hard to read, double vision and concentration issues. I listen to interviews of Ray Peat (Dr Raymond Peat). He has also written lots of articles. I would suggest you check out his work. I am slowly regaining my health after over 18 years of misery. I am not good at keeping in touch with people due to lack of energy. If you have any questions just ask. I will be in touch again soon. When I push to hard I have a full neuro-crash. I literally sleep for 3+ days. You cannot explain a TBI to a neuro normal person. I recognize If I was on the receiving end of hearing my story I’d be calling BS… Just easier not to tell my story….. Neurofatigue sucks.
No where near 100%. I had another brain injury from a car accident 2 years ago that’s made my symptoms a lot worse. I am extremely hypersensitive now. Everyday is still a challenge, although I’ve made some small progress, I had a ton of days where it’s worse I’ve been. I’ve been trying to make new videos, but I just don’t have the energy & am unstable. Thank you for you for your comments, I hope you are not struggling
@@Sabrinaluv1999 Thank you. I’m sorry to hear that. Sometimes finding distractions can help me in depressive states. Having a counsellor to talk to has really helped me, but it took a long time to find the right therapist. I hope that can be helpful, I am here to talk if you need someone
It’s a long climb back to a new normal after a TBI. I had a moderate-severe TBI in 2015 from doing a swan dive off a 10 foot ladder onto concrete at a job site

@@aphysique Hello! Medications haven’t helped me over the long term, I’m currently not on any but over the years have tried what my doctors prescribed me. Not to say medication won’t work for you, it’s worth a try to see if it helps you & listen to your doctors. But for me I never found relief on medication & found my own way to manage.
