Could be a nice fit into Jetmir, i have always liked permanents that can knock off your own stax pieces when you need to flick the aggro switch. Maybe this would be half decent in Edric too? No evasion hurts but, as you mentioned, that ability hits some pretty big targets in the format.
A card I would enjoy hearing some discussion over is Suppress, from Apocalypse, specifically in Rakdos and Jund. I refer to it as black Silence. At home haha
It sort of forces a player to 'if you're going to do it, you have to do it now.' I have won a game with it resolving, and since that game the people I have targeted in my playgroup have counterspell'd it twice. Which is also a win, as I still have my win condition in hand and have made them use up valuable interaction.
One of those times was one of the craziest counter-wars I have ever been involved in. Another blue player realised how important removing that initial players hand was, that they started to help make it resolve. Playing Rakdos, spending 3 mana to remove 4 counterspells and a Swat from my opponents felt like hitting the jackpot!
Is it a good card though? Probably not haha 🍻
Suppress sounds awesome! Ideally in a pod with only one control player stopping you from winning. 3 mana is quite a steep cost though!
@@ThatsAGoodCard oh 100%, 3 mana hurts! I swapped it out for Defence Grid as a way to potentially push through a win without the nasty downside of that artifact. Rakdos is hard. But that's why I love it 🤘

Most of the time, OBMs hitting the board don’t want to kill Haywire Mite. It does a good job threatening other players’ stuff

OBM wants rhystic study in play to punish that player. But me I will always hold a G open to kill anything I need to especially if OBM targets it. But I agree, don't kill the mite.

It's more for Torpor Orb in my mind, because a lot of green enchantment and artifact removal is ETB based

Welp, if we want things to roast about, in my regular play group there is a guy who played demonic tutor and copied it into an opposition agent he was just talking about.
Also, had someone bounce a notion thief and then wheel not realizing you can flash out notion thief.

@@ThatsAGoodCard to be fair it got some love in mh3, wight is great, the zombie goblin wizard (lol you have to love the typing) is nice, apprentice marionette is just a buffed blood artist, so some really great things. But blue, it just, existst lol

Free spell that is graveyard hate+ can “counter” top deck tutors seems awesome!! Low color decks in black might love this!
