I once wanted some way to mount those little rectangular LED lights on the inside pole of an umbrella. I designed and printed up a clip that has two cold-shoes that I could secure the lights to and attach it to the pole. Now I can have RGB LED light coming from the inside of an umbrella for a cool rainy-day photograph concept!

Now I want to print downtown Chicago! And I’m glad to see “Sears Tower” instead of “Willis”. 👍

Love the fun you and Raymond are getting from this! And I look forward to seeing ingenious creations appearing in videos and around your house and studio. Hope your kids get a fair share of usage when they can drag R away from the printer 😆

I’ve been 3d printing for years. I just got the AnkerMake M5C. What a great printer! It just works and I don’t have play with it to make it work.

I am in the process of making an organizer for my Nikon and Fuji batteries. Learning Fusion360 has been fun. Of course this will be 3d printable.

I fixed my AC unit by modeling the broken part in fusion 360 and printing it. You can't beat the satisfaction of using a bit of time and cents of filament to fix an expensive and unsupported machinen😊

Have you guys tried to custome design and print personalized hand-grip for your cameras? Printing custom designs parts or brackets are probably the most usage for me.

Next step: Fusion 360 🙂 Be careful also, not everything is food safe or children safe.

Don't think of 3d printing as a final step, you can still do all of the more traditional subtractive techniques (sanding, drilling, cutting, etc) with your print projects
Also, Id reccommend putting it on a more stable surface than a kitchen table, that can cause some issues. finally I'd suggest plugging it into a universal power supply for longer prints, if your power blinks 6 hours into a 7 hour print, you don't want to loose everything you have done so far.

3D printers are more toy than tool IMHO, when it comes to the home consumer market anyway. Even if they’re great for engineering and prototyping firms. I think the novelty of printing mostly useless plastic objects will eventually wear off for most people. Sorry I couldn’t be more positive. And just my opinion 🤷‍♂️
