Hello. I have a question please. I don't want it use the idrive control.
Is there any way I can control the android interface with the original radio buttons?
Sorry, the original radio buttons can only control some Android functions, such as mode switching, sound increase and decrease. But it cannot control the next page like a knob, or select one of the menus, so it is recommended that you use a knob to control the Android menu more easily.
Can I use this in any car? Mercedes?

it only support the bmw x1 e84 car, and it must work with the oem radio.
Any reason why there is a heartbeat sound after install? Should the optical cables (green and green black) from the original harness be transferred onto the PEMP harness to fix this?
Dear, you are very smart, Yes, you need remove the Fiber Optic to PEMP harness. it can fix this problem.
@@pempcar why was that not put on your e84 video, manual and installation guide? I wasted 6 hours today trying to fix the problem. 4X4 Canada’s video install guide ahows it why not yours?
@@ONE4AKUSTIK Sorry, Because most X1 E84s do not have this fiber optic cable. I just have add this instruction to the web manual immediately, thanks again for your suggestion.
Any reason the knob control isn't working? The buttons are lit up but I get no response from pushing them. .
Dear, please check if your knob is type A or type B according to the web manual. type A should be connected to the IDRIVE connector on the ISO harness, if it is type B it should be connected to the IDRIVE connector on top of the RCA harness.
