You need select the oem camera option in the settings.

On my 2018 x1 f48 I’m getting No Signal error. Had trouble removing the cable with pink connector- wonder if that’s issue

Hello. Can the guide lines in the back up camera app be adjusted in size and position to match the camera viewing angle ?
It can be repositioned so that when the reversing screen is displayed, you touch the menu on the left. It will change. But SIZE you can't change.
I just can watch youtube in andriod device,but no sound.
How to connect aux from andriod device with my X1?
You can try to change AUX to manual in the settings, select the original AUX menu before entering Android every time, and then touch the screen to enter Android, can you get the RUclips sound?

Do you have move the fiber optic cable from car into the new harness ? I have seen other videos that do that but not in your video.
You are very attentive! If your original car has an optical fiber plug at the back of the main unit, it must be moved to the new wiring harness.
I want to upgrate my X1 F48(2016) with android car.. what is better linux system oder android? And do i always need to use the aux cable for audio or is there any other solution for?
Linux only has the function of connecting to mobile phones, while Android can install other APKs, such as RUclips.
Your X1 NBT 2015 does not need to be connected to AUX-IN to get Android sound. I am sure.

If you want to control the volume of the Android sound separately, you can adjust the volume of the original car aux or the volume in the Android settings.
2. If you mean the navigation broadcast volume in Android, you can only find its volume control menu on the navigation software. There is also navigation volume adjustment in the Android system settings, but it is only for the volume when the original car radio and Android navigation work at the same time.

Hope you can help, i had one installed but the phone audio is not coming through. I noticed the WiFi and Bluetooth devices were installed behind the unit not by the window. Any tips are appreciated
Does your original car have Bluetooth? If the original car has Bluetooth, you need to disconnect your mobile phone from the original car’s Bluetooth, and then connect to the Android’s Bluetooth, otherwise you will not be able to hear the phone’s Bluetooth sound.

Yes, it has built-in wireless Carplay function, and you can use your original car knob to control the CARPLAY menu.
I did it to my 2015 BMW X1 E84. You don’t have to replace the idrive. Built in wired and wireless CarPlay functions. Also you could do screen mirroring for RUclips and Netflix.

@@reinoldg no problem whatsoever. Even the back camera works well. You just have to make sure you have your phone WiFi on for connectivity.
