    Aspinall is a real down to earth lad. He came to my work in Leeds after the Curtis fight and literally nobody except me and my mates recognised him. Now he probably can't walk down the street in a village without somebody noticing him lmao. Great guy. Signed a piece of paper for me cos I was too shy to ask for a picture 😅

      Quality, I met him in London after his win over Volk - just stood at the bar with him for 10/15 minutes chatting, too lad! Been easier for me to meet him in Leeds mind - since its where I live 😂

      He is so down to earth and has time for anyone. I saw him on a night out with his mates in Atherton (Town he's from) a couple of weeks ago, and he was happy to chat and have pictures with anyone. It's also amazing to have a local UFC heavyweight champion.

    Been a fan of Tom since his debut in the UFC. When I saw him get the belt I damn near shed a tear in me pub. Proper gent, role model, and father. I’ve worked with kids with special needs throughout school. Takes a lot of energy and time. Speaks to him as a champion to be able to handle the pressures of both. All love Tom, hope to meet you someday.

      It's very easy to fucking hate Tom Aspinall. Everything about him is irritating. His overconfidence is completely unfounded and he has not proven himself in the UFC at all. All of his losses are to people that outgrappled or could easily out grapple him and y'all are convinced he could take out Jon Jones. That is the peak of delusion.     My introduction to Aspinall beyond existing on cards and being chill was his reaction to the injury (I am somewhat of a lapsed viewer since the pandemic hit, though I still follow the same MMA channels)
    He really is a special individual.
    Warm, kind, funny, humble, professional AND an absolute monster in an MMA bout.
    Whenever I've met "tough guys" the only ones that deserve the title have been similar. They're so tough they don't NEED to be arrogant or aggressive. Anyone displaying those toxic traits is likely nowehere near as tough as they think they are.
    A genuine role model.

    Tom Aspinall.
    If being a champion in life had a face, it would look similar to him.
    Honesty, loyalty, sincerity, integrity and above all else, morals and principals that he appears to live by.
    There are very few people in the public eye that are legitimately worth modelling yourself on, but they are there, and Mr Aspinall is a champion in every sense of the word.
    Great interviewer & interviewee.
    This is how interviews should be.
    This is content in a content overloaded world that's served a purpose and has taught us all a little more about the people on show here.

    Edit: I loved this interview, Tom was really just saying how the situation is and I agree with him. Dana is a muppet and Jones is scared or he would say fuck Stipe we fight fight once I’m healed

    Calling all ufc fans world wide to boycott buying Jones v stipe if this guy doesn’t get the moment that’s owed to him in history….the passing of the torch that to me Aspinall would no doubt achieve over Jon Bones if he had the sack to front & grant the interim champion his due shot at glory.

    My mum died a couple of years ago, and I gave her a hard time over the years. I didn't know she had autism until it was too late. I've come to realise now that my grandmother has it too. It's heartbreaking, but we will get through it. Love Tom, & Bryan.

    I feel like Ngannou is also a reason why the UFC isn’t willing to do the right thing (Jones v Aspinall).
    The undisputed HW champion walked out the door which was a massive black eye for the company so how do they legitimise their new HW champion? Put him up against the only guy who beat Francis.

    My daughter paid for us to go to 'Tales of the Octagon 2' last night (it's my 55th birthday today). Tom came across as a true gentleman, and champion of the highest order. Can't wait to see how the next decade unfolds for the future GOAT.

      Guess we’ll never know because Jones won’t fight him. Picked his opponents wisely past few years and would be his wisest decision to stay clear of Tom in the later stages of his career in my opinion.
