In all 45+ years of carrying and using a knife. I love the Spear over other blades and use both phillips and straight blade as well as the can opener more than I use the bottle opener. I recall being 16 on a church camping trip and I was the only person out of 40 that had a can opener. Needless to say I opened a lot of cans that weekend so a can opener is always on my list. Love hearing this story. I have been having similar thoughts about having a knife made.

Great walk and talk, perfectly flush seams, beautiful blade with that swedge and hollow grind. I normally only carry knives with clips, but I'll make some room in the 5th pocket for this one. If you’re a real madman you might cut a piece of printer paper to truly appreciate the the amazing geometry, superior edge retention and toughness of the steel. Then you put it back in the case where it belongs.

I really like the denim, and I’m a fan of the shield being upright when the knife is horizontal so it is symmetrical, the way you originally designed it, but that minute detail doesn’t discourage me from picking this up when it drops!

Just received my Stump Lifter in blue micarta. Wow, what a nice knife! This thing is so well made! I only have one negative and that is you should have put your name on it somehow….Beautiful! Hope you do some more designs with QSP….

That's a very nice knife. I enjoy the SAK Bantam but wished it came with a more modern steel. I'm hoping for a blue micarta Stumplifter, as long as it isn't stupid expensive.
Not really my style, but if I had the extra capital, I would definitely pick one of these up. Frankly, you can tell quite a bit of thought went into creating this and bring this to market. It is gorgeous for what it is and does.
