My HD-25's are only 1½ year old, but having been dropped on the floor around 50 times, and I've used them for over 200 DJ gigs, and they still work flawlessly. Most sturdy DJ headphones I've ever had, and the sound is just great.
I've been using these to DJ since 2008 and am still on my first pair, they still look and feel like new. Yes the pressure hurts abit at first but once you've "worn them in" it eases up. . . . You could wear these headphones for an entire day and not notice them on your head. The noise cancellation is decent, and the sound is well . . it's monitor sound, it's not dressed up it's not bassy, but it is still fantastic and I've played on some pretty loud sound systems.
Having owned these for DJ use for the better half of 5 years now, it's probably worth noting the following: *Headband does get slightly less rigid over time, improving comfort for longer term listening *Standard pleather earpads are extremely durable (I'm still on the original pair, VS my third pair for my Pioneer HDJ-2000), and also become softer and more comfortable over time. *Nothing has needed replacing so far PS: Thanks for the reference Lachlan!
I'm looking at getting some Sennhesier on-ear headphones and while I still have't decided on which ones, your videos have been a godsend. Thanks so much!
I've only seen two of your reviews but I like how excited you are about the reviews you do. Puts a good feel for someone looking to purchase these products.
I've had my HD 25-1's for 15 years! It's my constant companion whether I'm filming, listening to music or on the bus listing to podcasts! I've refurbished all the pads and l have no plans to upgrade!!!
Great review! The HD25 has been through so many changes throughout the years. I saw people trying to sell the HD25-1 for like $300. My advice to anyone reading this is to just buy the new model that sells for about $150. It's the same sound but at a better price.
Had mine about 12 ish years now. Just had to replace the earpads but still running great. Not everyone will like the accurate sound but that’s what they’re designed for
he HD 25''s have a WARM ANALOGUE sound, with no ear fatigue after long use. No fake or hyped frequencies! Super ideal for a person with an extreme eclectic taste in music, oh including that boom bap 90's HipHop or Soulful Afro house music ;) a steal at the price there available for these days! TIP: get the coiled cable version, they are slightly higher quality cable and less cable mess
Nice review. Wait for your review and comparison for the aluminum version. Tyll did some tests of amperior with the aluminum cups, you might want to check that.
Thanks for the suggestion, but i'm looking for a dj hp and i dont which one to get, i like the hd 25s but the alu cups are pretty cool and 'improved' the sound. which one do you like better ?
2013 video, but 2019 question : The isolation of the HD25 is praised...But how does it compares to modern ANC headphones like QC 35 or the Sony WH1000M3 ? Espacially : does passive isolation still has the edge over ANC for high frequencies ?
its 2023... and I got my Sennys made in Ireland on 11/05/2008. I had to changed like 5 pairs of pads. I changed Wire 2 times (one was cheap from ebay and the other $35 original) I changed the left driver because i disassembled it and destroyed it in the process. MAJOR problem with the headphone is the 2 pin connectors that connect on the driver side. The connectors come loose all the time (contact problem) making the need for constant readjustments twerking and fiddling. I have the same problem with my old and new driver. Its just poor design. its a known problem and you can further research it on RUclips.
Well, some times you get carried away, and I think that it might be the case here regarding my opinion of the HD26... I have been sitting tonight and comparing 2 HD25 headsets with the HD26, and I must admit that it was a bit more complicated than I thought. I still think that the bass reproduction on HD26 is slightly better; a bit deeper than HD 25, but not bloated like the Beats headphones. But when we get to the upper mid range, the HD 26 has a tendency to emphasize that range (and tone down the high range), where the HD 25 has a bit more laid back approach in the upper mid range. So especially on vocals, the HD 25 is actually a bit better (in my taste). Thus a short answer for your question is, that HD 25 and HD 26 are quite close, with each their distinct sound. But both are real monitor headphones; nothing is hidden or missing, and both reveal things that are masked in most other headphones I have heard. Both are great headphones, and I might well get me a pair of HD 26 in spite of my reservations...
Hey man. Been thinking of buying a pair of headphones in a while now but I dont know wich I should get. I've looked at Audio Technicha MTH-50 and these and I have heared good things about both of them. I want to hear your point about the question, what headphones would you recommend me to buy? :) Great review btw.
First of all, big fan and soon-to-be Patreon supporter (waiting to turn 18)!! I'm a DJ, and so far i've been using the HD25's for all my mixing and commuting needs. but slowly, i've begun to find the treble to be quite harsh on the HD25 and my good frnd & mentor suggested changing my headphones to prevent any hearing damage risk.... So i was looking for a pair of headphones for djing, that has a similar sound signature to the HD25's but with a treble that is not so harsh. Thank you! :)
Hi!I have the HD25, but I want to do an upgrade, so I was looking for the Momentum over ear.Do you think it could be a good choice?I really like the HD25 though, do you think it's worth to get the Momentum over ear?I mean, I don't really know if there's a nice sound improvement or they just sound different.(I tried the Dr Dre Studio which I found way way way worse than the HD25, if that could help you). Your videos are great!
I got the same cans for a 4th year and the best part is that i found them at the hotel i was working at.The moment i saw them i was like:No way am i returning these. They're awesome
I'd like to note that you can buy a coiled cable for this headphone. Sennheiser makes an official one that is very expensive, but if you shop on Amazon, I can highly recommend the "Richer-R" coiled cable for the HD25. They sound and perform just as good as the official coiled cable, but are A LOT cheaper. I use my HD25s connected to my Reloop Elite DJ mixer when DJing and they sound amazing. I love the headphone and the fact that they are modular means I don't have to worry about breaking any piece of it. Great review.
I got the HD 25 now after my Beyer Dynamic gave up on me after 4 years. they sound better and weighs a lot less. When i got them i thought they weigh less than paper, but to my amazement they sound absolutely fantastic (i hope they last longer than my BE's).
These do sound like strong contenders for portable headphones. Mine will be arriving soon! I'm also going to apply the mass loading and dampening kit (for bass and detail), from Custom Cans. From what I've read so far, the modification kit only refines the headphones and changes very little of its sound signature. I think changing the material of the cable could make at least a tiny audible difference. The steel cable is rated at 4 Ohms!
I'd really like to call myself a headphone guy, but the thing is once I bought the hd25 almost 5 years ago I didn't feel like I needed any more headphones. Aside from my dad's vintage beyerdynamic DT 880 s, I don't own any other headphones and I haven't bought any since that I have kept. Also new users if you see this if they're uncomfortable to you stretch them over a box(a little wider than your head) before you use them. Even just stretch them over your legs, they can totally take the punishment and will be a lot more comfortable. Lachlan I've been watching your vids for awhile, sorry I just subbed now lol.
Guys I need your help, due to the high recommendation to buy the HD-25s I need a fact-based, truly feedback. I'm a hobbie DJ and a music listener, I want the headphones not just for DJing but for all day use like flying, traveling, long time listening music at home, etc. Are they good for those purposes?
Hey lachlan i was about to buy sennheiser amperior today until i heard amperiors were discontinued should i wait for the hd25 alu? Are there any problems with current amperiors?
So where can i get the amperiors? Best Buy? and I'm not a fan of ordering. How about the cable, what does it look like, i like the ones that is a full connection (one long cable)
I have been using a pair of HD 26 for a week, and I really love them. More comfortable than HD 25 (which I normally use) and really good bass reproduction, but soundwise still very well balanced. Same build quality as HD 25, and still no flashy bits. Also built for professional use (they are a headphone version of the HDM 26 microphone headset for broadcast use). If you like HD 25, chances are that you will like HD 26 even more.
They sound different, but not necessarily better. The Momentum has a wider soundstage and more of a laid back sound but bass is less tight. If you want a direct upgrade over your HD25 get the Amperior :)
Hmm. If comfort is a thing, then I might be more inclined to recommend the Momentum On-Ear even though I prefer the sound of the HD25. If you are going to wear them long hours I honestly don't recommend either though, since they are still on-ear headphones. Perhaps look at a good comfortable over-ear, like the Momentum, MDR-1R or the Philips L1/L2/X1?
Hi Lachlan! Great reviews, and I've definitely subscribed. Hoping for some quick help. I'm trying to decide between the Sennheiser HD25 and the Momentum on-ear. I listen to mostly electronic music, but definitely not limited to that. Comfort is also important, as I plan on using them at work for many hours. Thanks!
Hey Lachlan (or anyone willing to give thair opinions), I can get both the Sennheiser On Ear Momentum or the Sennheiser HD 25 for the same price, but I cant really decide which one to take. I listen mostly to DnB or Dubstep, but I do listen to about every genre of music. I travel alot, mainly to get too school, where I can listen to music on my laptop. Which one do you recommend for me?
I had a couple of pairs of HD-25s - one -1 70ohm set and an -SP set (which I don't have access to atm). I have had both since about 2000, and have come to use the HD 25-1 set almost exclusively. I've replaced the cups once. I love them. However, they are getting quite old now and I was quite curious about the amperior model, which seemed quite similar and when I heard they were going out of production and seeing a pair on offer (a little over 100GBP), I decided to pick up a pair. Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. The sound is not the same at all...the mid-range is too loud and it gives me some ear ache after a while. I almost never use them, which is a shame. I did see a pair of the new HD 25 "aluminium edition" in a Sennheiser store recently and I wondered if they had just renamed the Amperior, so it is good to head from your video that isn't the case. I look forward to hearing what you think of those (I'm wondering if I can sell my Amperiors on e-bay and replace them with Aluminiums).
Would you recommend the Sennheiser Amperior over the Momentum? When looking solely at sound quality what are your thoughts on those two compared to the Audiotechnica ES-700 and the ATH-M50? I care a lot about female vocals and I know you have said before that audiotechnica is really well done in this department, but I'm willing to compromise on that aspect for the overall sound quality of the product. Sorry I know I threw a lot of different variables in there. Any direction/guidance/advice is greatly appreciated! I love your reviews :) They're very informative and concise! Thank you so much!
It did thanks! I went with the amperiors and got a really great price for them on ebay. Cheers! P.S. Sorry for spamming you so much with my question, it is actually for my niece (her birthday is Sat.) so I am in a bit of a rush. :)
Hello Laclan! Been listening to quite alot of your reviews now. Good channel, I like the format and how you've strctured your reviews, and a big + for always having a smile on your face but still keep it very sophisticated. I'd be thankful for some recommendations on a pair of on-ear or over-ear. I've had a big amount of headphones over the years (mostly in the lower/mid price class) but its not until recently i've started to become a little more analytical and spoiled. So im not entirely sure which signature i prefer or what is my thing. I have the SH momentum IE's,which I saw you didnt like at all. It could be my lack of preferences but I do enjoy the signature in these. Im not very knowledgeable with all the terms concerning audio, but i'll try to explain what I probably or maybe are looking for. I know that the headphones are not independently responsible for how something sound but im quite sensitive to all forms of agressive/sharp/high-pitched sounds and also when the bass is too punchy/aggressive or the sub-bass is very extended or rumbly. Can you explain what boomy bass is? I like when theres a good seperation in the frequency range and that you are able to distinguish the different elements/ highs/mids/low. I dont like when it sounds distant though. I like bass, and i dont think im after a neutral or balanced sound, and def not a flat sound. But i want my bass tight, although not too punchy or fast. Its just that i dont want that extended bass tone rumble which also just disturbs the rest of the music. I want a bit of subass but if it gets too extend or rumble my ears thinks its sharp and disturrbing. I actually bought these pairs (the hd 25) but to me they were hugely dissapointing. First of: the are not comfortable. They sit on your head like something someone has forced to sit on your head. And the sound is just agreesive and very forward. They are not dynamic-sounding( no distinctive separation in the frequency rang). Just very lively and fast and has a pretty closed soundstage. So this is not a signature im after apparently. So, can you help me? :-) /Marcus
marcus eriksson Thanks for your kind words :) Boomy bass is when the bass has a lot of mid-bass emphasis (think more the lowest registers of the male voice) and is particularly echoey or congested. I think based on what you are saying, the thing I can think that ticks the most boxes is the NAD Viso HP50. But you may want to try it first to see if it is comfortable.... otherwise my next best recommendation would be the Beyerdynamic T51P, but I hesitate because you don't like the HD25 so you may just not like the on-ear style.
***** You said in your review of the HP50 that they're slightly more warm than neutral. That made me a bit suspicious, because I dont think I prefer a balanced more flat sound. You didn't talk so much about the low-end in the review either. How is it? I know its a weird and probably an impossible comparision to do but can you eloborate a little more on the signature of the upper mentioned and try to do a comparasion to the signature of the sennheiser momentum IE'S. And just to be a little more annoying: Whats the diference in signature and overall sound between the two headphones you recommended.
marcus eriksson Unfortunately I don't own the HP50 any more, but the bass is quite tight. You should check out some other reviews of it :) It's a very easy to listen to headphone.
Great Video! I am looking to retire my ATH-M50's that I purchased last year. I'm need of your advice. I listen to a lot of electronic music and at times, pop. Portability is not too important. I prefer sounds that "pop". I listen to music primary through my computer, ipad, or ipod. Which would you recommend? HD-25 II or perhaps V-Moda 100s? Or mabye I should get both? Lol Thanks a bunch!
My Solo HD beats have just broken and i'm looking something better. I noticed these on a Hardwell music video and I wanted to ask whether these have a deep base and are well worth the money. Also I use my mobile phone and laptop to listen to music and I wanted to know whether these would work comfortably on my Samsung phone?
i have been using these for 5 years to school\work hours a day. they are the nokia3310 of headphones and very comfy with my glasses. its sad people buy beats if they can get this piece of brilliant engineering
The Amperior does not have the same driver. The driver they used has a lower 18 ohm impedance than the 70 ohm driver of the HD25. For the HD25 Aluminium Edition they used the same driver as the HD25. The difference isn't huge, but it's certainly significant when it comes to amplifier selection.
1. before you put them on your head, replace the ear pads with the extra felt pads. 2. Wire connections will fail on these in 7-10 months, but with the 1 year warranty you can send them back and get a fresh pair no problems. 3. Repeat the process
Have a look at dj ravine's 2014 headphones. I forgot about isolation and sound but the m100 has a metal construction and pillow-feeling earpads. He also recommends to get extra large earpads.
Over Da Edge CB CLUB Philips A1PRO is amazing!!! Both share almost the same especifications. HD 25 have one item diferent that the A1PRO. The impedance is greater in the sennheiser model. That's the diference. Just this!
Man I have these and despite their good sound they are painful to my ears. I upgraded the pads to yaxi pads (much thicker) but still they are a pain. I mainly use the HD280 Pro now...
My HD-25's are only 1½ year old, but having been dropped on the floor around 50 times, and I've used them for over 200 DJ gigs, and they still work flawlessly. Most sturdy DJ headphones I've ever had, and the sound is just great.
14 years working with this headphones
still working still the best
It's 12 years for me - every day!
Comfort of ear cups?
yeah! since 1996 for me. :-)
1996, everyday hardcore use
1 Cable + Velourpads replaced since then :)
hows it going now
I've been using these to DJ since 2008 and am still on my first pair, they still look and feel like new. Yes the pressure hurts abit at first but once you've "worn them in" it eases up. . . . You could wear these headphones for an entire day and not notice them on your head. The noise cancellation is decent, and the sound is well . . it's monitor sound, it's not dressed up it's not bassy, but it is still fantastic and I've played on some pretty loud sound systems.
i guess Im quite randomly asking but does anyone know of a good place to stream new tv shows online ?
@Vincent Moses i use Flixzone. You can find it by googling =)
@Vincent Moses i watch on FlixZone. You can find it by googling :)
Having owned these for DJ use for the better half of 5 years now, it's probably worth noting the following:
*Headband does get slightly less rigid over time, improving comfort for longer term listening
*Standard pleather earpads are extremely durable (I'm still on the original pair, VS my third pair for my Pioneer HDJ-2000), and also become softer and more comfortable over time.
*Nothing has needed replacing so far
PS: Thanks for the reference Lachlan!
Are they good for home listening? Since I dont DJ
Still using my 14-16 year old HD25s. They badly need another pad replacement now but yeah.. I like them
My pair HD-25s will be 10 years old in June. Still work and sound amazing.
These are an awesome headphone, seriously awesome sounding. I absolutely love mine.
This is the only headphone that you need in your Lifetime
Great review! The HD25 has been through so many changes throughout the years. I saw people trying to sell the HD25-1 for like $300. My advice to anyone reading this is to just buy the new model that sells for about $150. It's the same sound but at a better price.
Can you also review some V-Moda Crossfade M/80 or M/100 headphones?
Or have you heard something about them?
If yes could you compare them to the HD25?
Sounds good. An off topic question, how do you think about the H3 and 7550s? Has the B&O taken 7550s' place in your list? thx :)
Had mine about 12 ish years now. Just had to replace the earpads but still running great. Not everyone will like the accurate sound but that’s what they’re designed for
same here, 12 years and earpad change.

Nice review. Wait for your review and comparison for the aluminum version. Tyll did some tests of amperior with the aluminum cups, you might want to check that.
I have had mine for 7 years and have just ordered a new cable. That is the only problem I have had.
Thanks for the suggestion, but i'm looking for a dj hp and i dont which one to get, i like the hd 25s but the alu cups are pretty cool and 'improved' the sound. which one do you like better ?
Awesome. I heard the Alu edition has a relatively long cable which might not be good for portable use tho.

Hey for dj or producer?
Hi
Dose it have any kind of soundstage ?
And whats the diffrence between the hd25 to the hd25 1 ii ?
Please make a comparison with Sennheiser HD 26 Pro. Thanks.

Hey lachlan i was about to buy sennheiser amperior today until i heard amperiors were discontinued should i wait for the hd25 alu? Are there any problems with current amperiors?
This was July if last year and you say you recently hit a thousand subscribers. Now you have 21,000 and me!
So where can i get the amperiors? Best Buy? and I'm not a fan of ordering. How about the cable, what does it look like, i like the ones that is a full connection (one long cable)

I've had the HD26 in the corner of my eye... how similar do you think it sounds to the 25?
Keep up the great work, really enjoyed your videos alot! Just got mine last friday muahaha! >:) P.S youve got yourslef a new patreon!
Titus Teo Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed the videos!
Lachlan is the hd25 1-II model is newer than the Amperior's? Im looking on Amazon for prices and they cost the same???
Amazing review would you prefer them more than the v moda xs? For all people that dont want wear beats!
PhiFino I like the Sennheiser Amperior over the XS :)
They sound different, but not necessarily better. The Momentum has a wider soundstage and more of a laid back sound but bass is less tight. If you want a direct upgrade over your HD25 get the Amperior :)
Amperior has way lower Ohm, so therefor better for smartphone, not for DJ
Hmm. If comfort is a thing, then I might be more inclined to recommend the Momentum On-Ear even though I prefer the sound of the HD25. If you are going to wear them long hours I honestly don't recommend either though, since they are still on-ear headphones. Perhaps look at a good comfortable over-ear, like the Momentum, MDR-1R or the Philips L1/L2/X1?
when will the sennheiser hd 25 aluminium be ready?? :)
You kinda reviewed every headphone that was on my list. :D Good ones and thanks for the good reviews.
Thanks!
Hey Lachlan (or anyone willing to give thair opinions),
I can get both the Sennheiser On Ear Momentum or the Sennheiser HD 25 for the same price, but I cant really decide which one to take. I listen mostly to DnB or Dubstep, but I do listen to about every genre of music. I travel alot, mainly to get too school, where I can listen to music on my laptop. Which one do you recommend for me?
hey lachlan,
hd 25-ii or hd 25 alu. ? what do you recommend.
hey lachlan is it a good idea to trade the ad900x for a sennheiser amperior?
you deserve more views and likes :P
Do they sound better than noise canceling headphones from Bose or Sony?
how much would they cost in America? and wat is the best headphones u can get for $110.00
Sennheiser HD25 MK2 is the same one you introduce? I am a bit confused.....what is the difference between the MK2 and the Basic Edition.
I look forward to hearing what you think of those (I'm wondering if I can sell my Amperiors on e-bay and replace them with Aluminiums).
is there a difference between them?
Would you say that this is a bad headphone for portable use with genres other than rock, hip hop, pop?
Would you recommend the Sennheiser Amperior over the Momentum? When looking solely at sound quality what are your thoughts on those two compared to the Audiotechnica ES-700 and the ATH-M50? I care a lot about female vocals and I know you have said before that audiotechnica is really well done in this department, but I'm willing to compromise on that aspect for the overall sound quality of the product.
Sorry I know I threw a lot of different variables in there. Any direction/guidance/advice is greatly appreciated! I love your reviews :) They're very informative and concise! Thank you so much!
Hey Joan, I compare all of the headphones you mention in this video: ruclips.net/video/W3eMPR2ox8A/видео.html Hope that helps!
It did thanks! I went with the amperiors and got a really great price for them on ebay.
Cheers! P.S. Sorry for spamming you so much with my question, it is actually for my niece (her birthday is Sat.) so I am in a bit of a rush. :)
How do these compare to the V Moda M100
Please please please review the mdr-v6 I always wanted to know how a headphone form 1985 compares with modern headphones performance wise...
isnt the cable for the hd 25 at the end have a right angle jack ?
Listened to this with my HD-25's!
These or UE6000 or Skullcandy MixMaster? (If for the same price)
is there any different between Amperior and HD25-1 II ?
The pads are awefull and not existent. What are suitable more confortable replacement pads? What is the dimention of the original pads? 65mm? Thanks
Is there a headphone as basic as the HD 25 but with a little more bass?
What model of Hd25 to take now??
Do they sound similar to the Momentums?
Hi bro. Want to ask for your opinion. HD25 vs V Moda m100. Which one is the best for dj?
thanks for the info
/Marcus
marcus eriksson Thanks for your kind words :) Boomy bass is when the bass has a lot of mid-bass emphasis (think more the lowest registers of the male voice) and is particularly echoey or congested.

You said in your review of the HP50 that they're slightly more warm than neutral.
Sorry Lachlan, I should have mentioned that I'd like a fairly portable headphone, too. Work, travel, etc.
Thanks again.
V-Moda Crossfade LP1 or HD25?
Where is the review for the DT 1350? :O
Agh still haven't gotten around to it. One day!
Lol
Thanks a bunch!
If you like a lively sound, I'd consider hunting down a pair of Sennheiser Amperiors. :)
Can you compare them to the aiaiai tma-1 ??
How does sound compare to a vmoda m100
can the sennheiser hd25 plus headphones be used on mobile phones?
They used a version of the HD 25 SP on Concord flights. The little brother to the HD25
At the moment with clearance prices, the Sennheiser Amperior is a better buy and a better match for portable players!
i have been using these for 5 years to school\work hours a day. they are the nokia3310 of headphones and very comfy with my glasses.
its sad people buy beats if they can get this piece of brilliant engineering
for those wondering, hd25 and amperior have exact same drivers. amperior has metal cups and a street cable with a mic. there the only differences
What happened to em
Which head phone in your mind is the best one to listen to DJ music like by Calvin Harris, DG and Daft Punk
For portable, I think the Beyerdynamic T51P is great. For home use, Shure SRH1540
Thank you so much for replying!!!
Another question, is the T51P same as t51i?
1. before you put them on your head, replace the ear pads with the extra felt pads.
2. Wire connections will fail on these in 7-10 months, but with the 1 year warranty you can send them back and get a fresh pair no problems.
3. Repeat the process
is amperior much better?
It's noticeably cleaner and since it costs the same amount on clearance....
They are all still fairly portable except the X1 :)
Wait, the Amperior is discontinued already? That's quite fast.
what about this and the vmoda m100, which one do you think is better besides looks?
I care more about isolation and a clear sound, thanks!
OverCoverOfficial I'm afraid I haven't tried the V-Moda M100, but note that the M-100 is ported and noise isolation may be worse.
Have a look at dj ravine's 2014 headphones. I forgot about isolation and sound but the m100 has a metal construction and pillow-feeling earpads. He also recommends to get extra large earpads.
Are these headphones okay at passive nc?
calum macdonald DJs use them, they offer pretty much class leading passive isolation for an on-ear headphone :)
Where is the DT1350 review?
This headphone has been discontinued? The Amperior is his sucessor? Help me!!!
The ampirior has been discontinued
this one is still here, and the amperior is now the HD 25 Aluminium (the normal HD 25 with aluminum earcups) :)
This is the successor and is on there site now the Amperior is gone. I am just wonder is this better than the A1Pro?
Over Da Edge CB CLUB Philips A1PRO is amazing!!! Both share almost the same especifications. HD 25 have one item diferent that the A1PRO. The impedance is greater in the sennheiser model. That's the diference. Just this!
Ítalo Abreu Just because they have the same specs doesn't mean they will sound the same
can u review the nokia purity pro wh-940 p
Man I have these and despite their good sound they are painful to my ears. I upgraded the pads to yaxi pads (much thicker) but still they are a pain. I mainly use the HD280 Pro now...
