Regarding my earlier advice on multiple simulations of UPSC PYQs (full length) in exam like conditions:
A lot of you are wondering: "what is the use of doing them again and again, especially if we have already done topic-wise PYQs?" or "if we solve them so many times won't we have a bias (know the answer by memory)?"
I used to have the exactly same doubt when my mentor Rakesh Dalal Sir (@RDIUPSC ) insisted that I must do multiple rounds of PYQs.
To assure me of the benefits, he proved to me why multiple rounds of PYQs are important:
1. With every iteration I uncovered new insights into the PYQ which helped me understand what UPSC is actually trying to test. (and what I shouldn't stress about)
2. I could see patterns in PYQs better
3. It helped me rigorously refine my strategy for D-day on 28th May, 2023 (a Prelims paper that had many shocks).
I hope this video helps address your doubts, exactly how sir assured my doubts on this PYQ driven approach.
All the best for Prelims 2024, I'm rooting for you! 😊✨🇮🇳🎯
PS: please excuse the 3 am, sleep deprived face 🤪
this is such a relief. thanku for the insight. i got slightly worried about not doing coaching mocks and not remembering answers to pyq even after having already seen them , but i guess i need not worry.
Thanku mam.. Much needed insights
Thank you, ma'am.
🎉🎉🎉🎉 nice insights
Ma'am plzz suggest a overview of the topics that should be revised on daily basis...
i.e while revising Eco feeling that something I forgot about Polity.
Why this happens ma'am & how to deal ??
Thanku very much mam❤
Strong gut feeling, you are not looking to opt this job for life long and creating a backup of audience so that you can jump into teaching anyday, and yeah I know u would say niti aayog and ngo are always there for you but idk i have a feel
I feel the same..
Mam all of your videos are highly insightful and I'm getting to know much more than ever before...like this penalising thing that you did while pyq simulations.. I'm going to follow that for sure
Thanks a lot mam
Take care.
Thank you madam
Why am I not getting audio on this video
Mam do doing 5 times pyq is enough?
Ma'am are you aware of the fact that you are in a service and yt channel's ad revenue would be counted in the office of profit.
If not kindly enlighten me.
How many Years of past paper should we do man ?
8 years is enough
23 years
Minimum 5 max 10
False
this is pure stupidity, there would always be subjectivity while solving PYQs. Why everyone is becoming maestro of Prelims when they are not even sure whether they would clear 2024 Prelims. Even Shivin Chaudhary is farji, first he said “Open the paper and smile” and then he went live a day after 2023 paper ans said “Agar aisa hi paper banana hai toh kya fayda Mentorship ka, ye toh mujhse bhi solve nahi ho raha”
Toh kya krna chaiye??
Doctor sahab drama bohot karte hai.. like , open the paper and smile.. then, I am here with you.. kya fayda , main apne parents ko yeh bataun ki Dr sahab mere saath hai?!
Sab apne apne business mein lage hai.. these are far sighted people..
Exactly , getting emotional thread out of aspirants.
