The premise of this talk is, "What if, instead of WAITING for the right time, right person or right circumstances; your relationships, work, health, life and love could be more of what you want ... now, not someday?" The answers to how to do that are in your Happiness Box (Minute 10.11). Be sure to fill it out and post it where it is in-sight, in-mind so you have CLARITY on what you can do each day to put and keep the light on in your eyes. You might also want to fill out the Happiness Quiz with your family, friends and staff and discuss your answers. Many people have told me that doing this led to an incredibly rewarding conversation for all involved. John Legend says, "The future is already here, and we are already late." Twenty years on, this book is still incredibly useful; I find myself reading a page or two every day in order to soak in your wise & thoughtful tips on life, as reading more than that in one sitting would not do your ideas justice. After reading a section I think about how I can apply it to my life.
I must confess it sat on my bookshelf for a long time before I truly started reading it, but I'm so glad I did, your book is the very opposite of fluff - jam packed with really useful and practicable advice.

So many gems of wisdom in this video Sam, I've shared it with several of my friends. We can get tranquilized by the notion of someday, love that you have reminded us that we need to shift to see someday as today,and to commit to take a step towards what we want now and not wait. The Happiness Box is a simple and right to the point excercise to quickly break through the mystery of what we want, and what we care about and, what we no longer want to give our precious energy and attention to. Excellent talk, thank you for sharing it!

Such an amazing time listening how you talk and explain everything My heart opens and reminds me all those promises I made ... Oh my.... Thank you Sam for inspiring me I olredy started making 2 of my promises become alive... I create a channel for my kids because I don't want to see them working 8or 9 hours a night to make money or have an bosse that will make you feel miserable like mine was... So I quit and I am so so happy for my decision. There are different days, some easier, some hard but feeling that you don't hate your life anymore it is the best feeling and my husband is so anderstanding and supportive, he gives me time to figure out what I want to do and how things work in that area I want and love to work with my kids 😊💖🙏

I was zapping on youtube channels and all of a sudden I saw this video of Sam. I watched the video and then at the end I found myself that I am clapping her and people looking at me like ''wth?''.. What a great talk Sam, very inspiring! I especially really like your call to re-commit. It's true. Way too often we confuse what true integrity is. Something bothers me about her father's story at the beginning. I'm tempted to tell a different story : her father thought his dream was to visit the national parks, but something more noble and beautiful than his dream, something that lived inside his heart lead him through life. To take care in the best way he could of the ones he loved. Without this noble unknown part of himself he would have visited the national parks but would not have gifted humanity with such a wonderful girl
