Nice flyers! I also made a lidl conversion with a 2023 model. It has an Emax mt1804 motor in pusher configuration (like an easy star) and a 5040 prop. 1,5:1 power to weight ratio on a 3s! You should try that.

Flies quite I thought it'd would, that tip stalling tendency is far too familiar even if you craft is very light! 🙂

For sure, but flew pretty well!

Yeah, if they have enough speed, they really do not like to fly slow,, that's where having a motor onthem comes handy 😄 I had 2 of those as RC-gliders, ailerons and elevator only in 2008 and 2011, both had the same tendency to drop a wing and demanded quite a lot of airspeed to fly well.
