Black Metal album of this miserable year. I have no doubt. Very impressive, it reminded me when I was a kid in mid nineties. What a magical feeling back then, and what a magical feeling listening at this album now. Thank you Seth, majestic black metal at his finest.
@@Nobody-fr4qo There is a band called Hegemon, also from France, that is even better than this - probably both bands have influenced the other. They released an album in the same year called Siderius Nuncius, which is one of the greatest masterpieces of metal I've ever heard. Absolutely unsurpassed and unlike Seth their entire discography is flawless. Another from France to check out is Inherits the Void. And from Germany listen to Der Rote Milan for something similar.
. SETH are great songwriters, and even at their most adventurous and vicious they know how to bash out a memorable tune. But it's the harnessing of those disparate elements and their molding them into such a cohesive and destructive whole that makes this stand out as the kind of black metal album that most fans of black metal song
This band just shows the progress and. Intensity that black metal has made during the years. Original and melodic yet it still throws down and draws you in with hardcore perfection that in concert would be an unforgetable experience. Fuckin A
