@@Sellthoseflippingcars yeah I took it to my buddy who scanned it said it wasn’t picking up nothing, and every time I would turn left my advtrac would go off,
If the bolt is not blocked by the brake caliper and rotor then no you do not have to remove it to replace the wheel speed sensor. If you need to replace your brakes then that would be an opportune time to replace the wheel speed sensor as well. With that being a two birds with one stone Paradox LOL. Best way to determine if you need to do is follow the wheel speed sensor wire and judge from that. Remember you do not want to strip that bolt out nor break it. So remember to use some penetrating oil like PB Blaster or WD-40.
I have a code P0500 and I replaced the transmission speed sensor but the speedometer and the odometer still don’t work all other gauges work. Any tips?
Have you disconnected the battery for 20 minutes to reset the entire system? Have you checked the wiring in the back of the gauge cluster to see if it is plugged in? I would make sure you are receiving power still the gauges, if you are then you are looking at an internal problem for those gauges.
Was this making the advance trac come on ?
Yes it was Gilbert, are you having the same problem right now?

Awesome! How do you determine what sensor is faulting ?
Your vehicle should tell you with an abs fault code which wheel speed sensor isn't working.
thanks man
You are most welcome! Thank you for watching!
Is the right rear wheel speed sensor similar in that you have to remove brake caliper and rotor? Vehicle is a 2003 Ford explorer xlt awd/4wd.

@@Sellthoseflippingcars Thanks for the quick reply! 👍
Would cleaning the sensor, make it work?

@@Sellthoseflippingcars so I reset the battery and checked the gauges they are plugged in but still no speedometer or odometer
Check the vehicle speed sensor it is located on the driver side of the transmission, above the shifter.
@@Sellthoseflippingcars that’s what I replaced, what should I look for to make sure everything is the way it’s supposed to be
Check the harness plug itself, make sure that doesn't have any wear marks. You might be grounding out, causing the intermittent behavior
It has 4 right
Yes, one per wheel
