    Очень интересные и эмоциональные выпуски. Вопрос как отличить want от won't в устной речи? Спасибо вам.

    • @pandakate
      @pandakate 5 лет назад

      грамматически т.е судя по ближайшим словам:
      после «want» всегда будет глагол с частицей «to». Например : I want TO sing/to dance/to find etc.
      После «won’t» не используется «to». Например : I won’t sing/dance/fight etc.
      Ещё можете понять по интонации. Отрицание всегда выделяют сильнее. В паре «WON’T sing» люди в основном делают ударение на первом слове т.к они «НЕ будут» что-то делать.
      А в паре «want to SING» выделяют интонационно третье слово, т.к. важно что именно человек хочет делать.

    My boyfriend can't do this no matter how he tries and he needs to know it for Beginner English because he was learning the days of the week and Thursday is one of then. And he can't say three at all. He said "Ich mag 'drei' besser." He likes the German word for it better. He cracks me up.
    That's not how I learned TH as a native English speaker. I had to take speech lessons, though. It was embarrassing.
