I love that the "new uniform" beacon undersuit has now become the base uniform for every pilot in the verse after the lose-inventory-on-death update xD xD
Will is real, I’m a night shift cook at Denny’s, but I spoke to someone (very high up in the military) who said they have to cover up will sightings all the time.

My local sheriff stated he had to investigate 3 Will sightings just last week. The first he said was just another prankster in a "Will suit" but the other two were still under investigation. The witnesses seem convincing but this 'Will' person left behind no evidence of his ever being there. Until someone produces some actual physical evidence of this Will's existence I'm afraid he will be just another Urban Legend.

Might be helpful if the crew adopts standard fighter lingo. For example: "Bogey" is an unidentified aircraft. You see and are tracking an aircraft, but otherwise don't know whether it's friendly, unfriendly, or neutral. "Bandit" is an identified unfriendly aircraft. You see and are tracking an aircraft, and have other information that meets the Rules of Engagement criteria for declaring it to be a bad guy. "Hostile" is an identified unfriendly aircraft which fighters are cleared to engage (ie, shoot down). Meets all the ROE criteria for Bandit plus the ROE for being cleared to shoot it down. "Contact" is basically a way of saying "I see something on my radar (or other sensor) but know nothing else about it, I'll get back to you when I do.
I would argue that Captain Kate is on the right track as shown by her respectful effort to use nautical terminology when referring to all things related to a crewed vessel. As a career military sailor, this pleases me to no end. As a matter of RP-lite gameplay, this will suffice but for a more immersive RP experience, the nautical lingo can be improved. Otherwise, Bravo Zulu, Captain! By this virtue alone, Captain Kate makes a tempting argument to join her Organiztion.
"Left, left." would then become "hard to port."
Been trying to push Port and Starboard, let's just say it's an Achilles heel for some around here. (Not me)

She has and is developing an outstanding crew and has a fine ship to support them.. Please dont confuse the issue with nautical mumbo-jumbo..
@@urushira Nautical makes sense for shipboard, and thrusting 90' port is a good start, but have to make sure people remember the third dimension which is always calculated from the largest body in the area as Z.
As a long ago backer and non player due to low end pc, it's very satysfying to watch people put things together and show me that SC is really come closer and closer to what it's supposed to be. Thanks :)
Had same problem until recently. Now, due to my new PC, I'm finally able to do combat missions and other stuff. My old PC was good enough, until alpha 3 hit and droped the hammer on my specs.
All this does, is make me want to complete my Misson of making Starfleet in Star Citizen, I've even manged to think up a pretty interesting uniform design haha... The hard part is figuring out how to invite people to join, and actually get one going hahaha
We kind of have this going over at Skunk Works now :) We have like 4 Battlegroups active now ;)

To be fair, along with my idea of Starfleet, I had also thought if making something similar to the UFP, but since in Star Citizen players don't really own planets, I did think of an interesting alternative, the UFO, standing for the United Federation of Organisations hahahha.
So that might be something for you guys to look into perhaps, it would be quite cool to get involved with multiple Orgs, and be able to assist if they need help, and work together for events etc.

This is the type of thing that when players get their hands on the Javellin, is going to make this even more of a life sim than before. 3.15 bringing even more purpose to mulitcrew without even really "adding" new gameplay, just shows how often people miss the little things for the big "features".
Oh how I wish even *MORE* people could see this side of Star Citizen.
Now that 30k crash recovery is in, the armory of the Carrack can be kept fully stocked. It really adds so much life to the ship.
This is fantastic, I love the communication between captain and crew. This is exactly the kind of gameplay I'm hoping for!

Will's in your face cameo completely rectified the long absence of his presence. That was amazing. And to be treated to actually seeing a crew coming together in such a wholesome way while also portraying the Carrack so beautifully. The epic finale on Daymar climaxing with the beautiful take off scene just made me warm and fuzzy inside. Incredible attention to pacing and detail absolutely grab my attention these entire 20 minutes or so videos again and again. Not even sad the episodic format has come to an end. Seeing this, it feels like a natural conclusion and the returning music themes keep it familiar. For some reason, they never get old. Glad they are still around. Looking forward to your next adventures! :)

"But where's the gameplay?!" *Points to this entire video where people are literally going to be actual medics in game, and logistics officers, fully IRL professions, not "advertised" as being a part of the game.* Just one Carrack seems to be able to provide at least 7 people with an experience that takes mulitple different gameplays that each one enjoys diffierently, all in one place as a group.
No, that's not the gameplay they're looking for... it's the mindless kind, with flashy lights, gambling mechanics and the press x to win gameplay they're looking for...
I would offer the counter point that not everyone has a $550 ship and that many friends who own a game package to fully crew it.
@@TheCooro Exactly. You can do this is any sandbox, people are fooling themselves because of just how good SC looks compared to other space sandbox games that you can roleplay in. There's a severe lack of an actual game in SC at the moment. I'm assuming they'll get around to it later, but the point remains they're kind of overlooking it at the moment.
@@TheCooro The same could be done with a smaller crew on a smaller ship. A Cutlass Black for example pilot copilot and gunner and is much less expensive in real world cash or could be purchased in game.
Really starting to enjoy your SC productions. Love the Carrack and she makes a great platform for adventures and will shine when Pyro is made available.

Good video showing crew progression & bonding. I like using the 125a as my Carrack runabout: it fits inside hangar, has reasonable firepower, small cargo bay, good fuel scoop for fuel efficiency & a bed to logout in. 😉

Medical and inventory will be a great addition to the gameplay. That Pisces will get a lot of work transferring wounded players and even bringing weapons and such to ground personnel.

This is really valuable Carrack testing as this ship is designed to venture out far into scary parts of the Universe as it gets developed.
The effect when your shiedl is hit looks damn good now, quite "realistic" i would say.
And yes you can spawn/store the small ships on the ground vehicle pad.

One tip though. Ensure you always take the call to arms mission. It will bring in more money for each hostile you kill.

As soon as 3.15 drops, I hope that we get to see a fully stocked Carrack with the weapons in lockers, and armours in boxes/on the walls/storage units, if they impliment that at some point in 3.16.

Your carrack pilot: Does not ever need power to weapons. Basically Power allocation should be 100% shields unless he's boosting. If he boosts then set boost to 100% until it is filled. P.S AWESOME edits and music. The pilot should also "pin" targets to help coordinate the gunners together on the same target.

this was awesome! my carrack lacks a crew, so far its just me running cargo.. but seeing the way you guys took on the HH's, the ship seems very effective to hold its own :)

The first clip after the voice over with Totally Real Will™ reminded me of an old obscure bug. For the first patch cycle after the Pisces was put in game, its passenger seats didn't work for female characters.

This looks like a good org training run. My Carrack is named "Magellan's Victoria" and due to it too being an Expedition model with CX-8 Pisces the name doesn't appear. I look forward to the days when my org plays SC with me. Then we can run multi-crew missions like you folks are.
The 100i fits in the carrack too... I use the 125a with the carrack hanger and it's a great little fighter
