Life changes overnight for coach John Harrison when his high school basketball team and state championship dreams are crushed under the weight of unexpected news. When the largest manufacturing plant shuts down and hundreds of families leave their town, John questions how he and his family will face an uncertain future. After reluctantly agreeing to coach cross-country, John and his wife, Amy, meet an aspiring athlete who’s pushing her limits on a journey toward discovery. Inspired by the words and prayers of a new-found friend, John becomes the least likely coach helping the least likely runner attempt the impossible in the biggest race of the year.

I had goosebumps throughout this movie...God is soooo good. I love this movie...literally 10 minutes into the movie I took out my notebook, I was literally taking notes, throughout the movie. As I was watching I was just learning...This movie is amazing.

GO SEE IT NEXT WEEKEND. It is better storytelling than anything the Kendrick Brothers have done before and that says a lot. There are scenes where you will be crying and the scene you are laughing so hard you miss the next spoken line... because the characters are that rich and fully explored. Be prepared to cheer and applaud in the final few scenes -- our theatre audience did!

I just saw this movie today. What an amazing message was given in it. How Jesus can change the heart of someone to become defined by Him is the message to take away from the film. Ask yourself, "who am I"? I highly recommend this movie. I probably will see it again.

How do you get a film into a country? I live in Belgium and these films don't get screened publicly here. Too liberal. Europe as a whole. Same with 'Unplanned'. We always have to wait for the DVD and that obviously doesn't reach the wider public. Who has a say in this? Please help....

At 1:43 to 1:46: "The one who overcame death hell and the grave.." What about the most important part of all, namely what Yeshua did on the cross?
I haven't seen the movie but I would highly recommend their book "Defined, who God says you are".
This world will tell you you aren't good enough for IT..when the fact is, as a saved Christian, a child of God you have been given a POWERFUL identity in Yeshua. He is our Saviour and very deserving King.

Saw this movie. Extremely lackluster and it seems to only hint at being a Christian movie. And in the parts in which it dies, it seems crammed down the throats of viewers.
It's almost hard to think this is by the same creators that made Facing the Giants, which is a much better movie from a story standpoint as well as a message delivery standpoint. It's a Christian movie, they make it clear, and it makes everything that happens make sense.
If they had approached this project with a similar idea to that of Facing the Giants, it would be a much better movie.

No the Kendrick brothers are not preachers, but are firm believers in what Jesus Christ can do in someone's life.
