    Thankyou for all of this information. Great to see all of this in an easy comparison format. I have read the med journal report for ozempic and you are on point

    Why did they discontinue Bydureon? Now I am stuck with Byetta which is not as good. (Don't get 24/7 sugar control)
    All the other injections which "they" claim are the same made me feel bad and I go to the loo every hour or so day and night so I didn't get much sleep.
    If anyone from the company that produced Bydureon is reading, please research to make a better needle and bring the product back. (A Gilligan's Island needle was a small price to pay for feeling normal and sleeping through the night.) AND advertise when you bring back.
    If anyone has the same toileting issue (going every hour or so with urge) make your voice heard.

    Adylxin is being discontinued as of January 1, 2023. They had a wonderful savings program which was very helpful while my insurance refused to cover trulicity. We finally got them to go cover the trulicity so switching back to it. Thank you so much for this graphic. I did not lose a lot of weight on adlyxin and was on it almost a year. It DID help with my A1C and fasting insulin though!

    Very Helpful. My physician did not give me any warnings or info. It was learn as you go, which has been unpleasant. Had to switch from Trulicity to Ozempic as a shortage developed. Ozempic was not godd, more side effects. This month could not get Ozempic so had to get Trulicity. This is in South Africa

  • @mimsicle1

    Showing a syringe at the beginning of this video and stating the large needle every day is misleading. It looks more like a pen and the needle is 4mm which just breaks the skin. A Naturalpathic doctor tends to be anti medication in the first place.

    Thank you for your video, doctor! I am overweight and have type 2 diabetes. I was on Ozempic and lost 10 kg on 0.25 and 0.5 mg. My weight stalled at 1 mg. I developed somewhat unusual side effect - panic attacks and had to stop Ozempic. I was prescribed Mounjaro. No weight loss on 2.5 mg and again unusual side effect - numbness and tingling. I want to try Trulicity, but you mentioned that if you had bad side effect in one GLP-1 agonist you most likely would have it on another. Not sure what to do...

      It would be the same medication, but dosing would be difficult to approximate due to one being injected and one being oral.

    Would there be much of a difference if you switch from Rybelsus to Wegovy? I noticed you classified Rybelsus as a non-weight loss medication. Thank you in advance.

    • @BrianYeungND
      @BrianYeungND  2 года назад +2

      Wegovy is likely stronger for weight loss due to its much higher bioavailable dose, and yes, Rybelsus is technically a medication for diabetes, not weight loss. Novo Nordisk is currently developing a weight loss version of Rybelsus.

    This is useful. I'm a T2D trying to get my glucose down with Low Carb/Keto and Intermittent Fasting. I have Paradoxical Hyperglycemia - my glucose stays > 100 despite the fact that I'm not eating any carbs. A GLP-1 agonist is better than taking insulin, but the question becomes which one? I have a family history of Thyroid cancer and I have low thyroid hormones needing supplementation.
    IMHO, GLP-1 should be used as part of a plan to reduce fat, improve health combined with low carb and not as a license to eat carbs and sugar.
