Matt, as a huge fan of Pints, I want to say it was rather humorous to see how little you know about American popular culture 😂. Given the topics you cover on Pints it's not really something that ever comes up. Also, tell Seamus, Joe Palos says hi next time you see him.

I’m a former Protestant currently converting to Catholicism! Loved this conversation. Happy to have Matt Fradd as a rep. Hope John makes the leap one day :)
You realize you're exchanging the truth for a life and worshipping the creation rather than creator, right? Surely you see that? You're leaving behind the faith in Jesus to pursue faith in an institution. God will not show you mercy, friend. Might want to read Hebrews 6:1-8.
Enjoyed this especially since John and his gang were legitimately interested in the Catholic Church. I hope John continues his search. Confession would bring him such peace.

48:01 I was Protestant evangelical when i met and started dating my Catholic (now) wife. Got confirmed Easter 2023 into the Church, which happened to be 2 weeks before our wedding in the Church.
Regarding the Prot/Catholic marriage part, both spouses don’t have to be Catholic to get married in the Church. The non-Catholic has to affirm they agree to raise any future kids in the Catholic faith and not be an impediment to the Catholic spouse’s faith. Additionally, if the non-Catholic spouse is in agreement, then the local Bishops grants approval for the Catholic to be married to the non-Catholic. Also the wedding isn’t a full Mass. I was still Prot when I married my wife (Catholic).
This isn't true. I was married in a catholic church. I am protestant. I made it very clear that I would not raise my children Catholic but would raise them as Christians.
Great show, John seems to be searching & as a convert from nothing 25 years ago, I'm now a trad Catholic & my whole family protestant, I still tell them where else can I go as Peter told Jesus "You have the words of Eternal life" or something close to that phrase!!
