Hundreds audition, but only a select group will secure spots in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders training camp. DCC director Kelli Finglass and head choreographer Judy Trammell oversee the intense audition process and decide which hopefuls will make the team.

these ladies are unbelievable! to learn 40 song-dances over the summer is like a miracle. thats like a week or two to get one down so well that the first few notes of it you just jump right in! they are all amazingly talented! on top of that they all have jobs outside of this, and other responsibilities.
Actually it’s about three a week. TC is 13 weeks long.
@@Jorlaxe they are amazing! all of them will certainly make something wonderful of their life! even the girls who make it in to training camp, wow wee! with a thousand at first, then 500, then 60ish, then 40ish for finals. even if they make it that far they need to know they are one of the few who could even to that!
Yeah I’m blown away how they can do what they do. I assuming it’s akin to a musician who can hear a piece of music and play it really well first time. As all these ladies have said they love dancing. So it must be a natural talent developed at an early age and honed to perfection thru the years. Hats off to them. I admire them so much.
lol do you know how many weeks are in a year? 1 song a week, 40 songs. theres 52 weeks in a year. they're going 3-4 songs a week.

Cannot wait until Amanda becomes the future point of the triangle. She's got really good attitude. Loved her dance with Tyce Diorio's routine, slayed it!

It just goes to show you how heavily edited this show is to bring the worst out of people.
you are right. people cry differently. Julia was not fake. she was a nervous wreck right from walking in the door. poor girl. being cut is so so hard, but being cut right in the end....that is brutal. i also do NOT think her saying she is using Dcc as a stepping stone is anything bad. they all are! every single one of those girls are. even Kelli and Judi did. they would not be where they are if they hadnt cheered before. this is a silly reason to hate on someone. when you are adults anything you commit to for at least a year is probably a stepping stone to something else. why is that bad? if it is we are all guilty. that is people who have lives they are proud of. people who worked hard to get where they are. i know for me everything i did was to get where i am at. that does NOT belittle and of those wonderful steps.
Well I mean Julia did admit she is just using DCC as a reference for her future career and not because she is a devoted cheerleader and dreamed of being on the team. That says alot about her and her reasoning for being on the team.
@@alauram.6416 admit? did she commit a crime? omg how petty are you? guessing very. that is sad, it shows what a nasty woman you are. what young person just starting out doesnt want wonderful things on her resume. cheer leading is NOT a career. especially for dcc. it pays horrible, and takes up all of your time. you put your life on hold for it. so of course it is a stepping stone. how pathetic if a girl were to say, oh i want to be a cheer leader forever. :) get a life and stop nit picking on every thing other people say. she got cut cuz she wasnt performing in the top 36. her words did not get her cut. fyi she wants to be a broadcaster, and making DCC finals WILL help her out. so what. i tried to do only things to help me out when i was a young person. all successful people think ahead, and that way. it does not mean that any of the things we did in our past were not wonderful or that we didnt do them to the best of our abilities. this is called a history, why dont you work on making one for yourself and leave other young girls that have their whole life ahead of them alone. i wish her well, and i think she will succeed!

The problem is her not having the common sense to know what should or shouldn't be said in a professional setting. She has no chance of being successful in the broadcasting business if she can't learn that basic common sense... She messed up and has no one to blame but herself.
michele michele one thing is using dcc and hiding it, putting on a great show on how much they love it. One thing it’s to admit to use it in a media interview, bringing the reputation down, and pissing the teams fans big way. The fans money is her pay, she just shat on them.

Julia was done the minute she said she was using DCC as a stepping stone. The only reason she got to stay a little longer was because of her car accident. I think the reason she didn’t initially realize what was wrong with her interview was because that’s how she honestly feels about being a DCC. Plus she did not shed an actual tear when she was cut. Victoria had mascara running all over her face when she was cut last season. All former DCC use DCC as a stepping stone to modeling, pro prep classes, reality shows, and other business ventures. No one can be a cheerleader for 10-15 years but she should’ve never ever said that. I was even a little offended that she said that and I’m not affiliated with DCC in any way so I can only imagine how Kelli and Judy felt.
Michelle Martinez 🙄 this is not a lifetime career. Everyone knows that. Her execution could have been better but DCC IS A STEPPING STONE. You are only skinny enough, pretty enough, and spunky enough till the next newest things comes around. It’s a shallow industry. 🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️🤷🏽♀️ now she can go be whoever she wants to be thanks to the camera time.

Jorlaxe and I reiterated that her message was correct but her delivery was off. The OP also stated she felt offended and she’s not affiliated w/ the group. Again, this is NOT a lifetime career. She could have said exactly that with better taste. That is all I meant by my connect.
Sadore Yes, I understand it’s not a lifetime career. You would never go into a job interview bashing your former employer and saying I’m using this position as a stepping stone for something better. Training camp is a 2 month long job interview. Her saying that did bother me a little bit and I just watch the show. Kelli and Judy eat, sleep, and breathe DCC so of course she had a target on her back after media training. It’s unfortunate because I really thought she would make the team but there was no way that was going to happen after her comment.
Michelle Martinez you absolutely would go into job interviews saying this is a stepping stone of course in better words bc many jobs want to see growth. They want growth within the company but you’re never going into a McDonald’s interview and saying you want to make being a cashier your career goal. Her taste in words were poor however she’s using DCC to expand just like the former DCC girls that currently host the show. All I’m saying is her words were poor. With better verbiage, she could have gotten her point across and not “insulted” people. If that put a target on her back, they should have dropped her then...🤷🏽♀️ these women keep and throw away who they want. I’m pretty sure if it were Meredith or Kat or any other women these 5-6 min highlights hone in on, they would have kept their position.
I love how after their performance all of the girls seemed so genuinely happy to be doing what they are and the opportunity that they have been given. I also like how Kelly seemed happy when they were thanking her for all the hard work she puts into the team.

I only started watching this like 1-2 weeks ago and I’m already OBSESSED! And it’s really hard to find a video I haven’t seen yet!
Be sure to check out the Cowboys website if you haven't already. Go thru the playlists and find the DCC folder. There's a bunch in there. LIke this seasons Vets doing the Calendar shoots. (minus Gabby since she got cut before TC). And all the girls have a short vid of their "MycauseMyboots" some where really heart warming.
Ikr I've been watching it for 6 years now and its still my favorite reality show on tv!
I have been cheering for Amanda since the beginning of auditions! She is killing it! 👏🏻💙

Kat and Kirsten surprised me of how they keep up with the choreography and add their sparkle to the dance. I hope they make the team because they are killin it👏👏👏👏👏👏

I am sorry, but Julia was not DCC. After the last episode she showed her true colors after her meeting with Judy and Kelli It looked like you could see her mouthing the "F" word. Not a good example in my book.

They always have the same problem every year. They get down to 37 or 38 girls and then have to cut someone who is good enough to be on the field. Why not just make the 37th and 38th girl alternates, in case someone gets injured (there's always at least one or two injuries during the season). Instead, they cut the #37 and 38 girls and then bring back retired veterans to fill in for injured girls. I never did get that.

I respect your opinions however a giant percentage of people actually love this old traditional style. Society pushes change constantly so it’s nice to see that some people stick to tradition. It’s just what they do and it’s working.

This is my absolute favorite show! Last night’s episode was so good. The girls were on point during show group 💕 we’re getting down to the wire! I’ll be so sad when the season ends 😭

I became mesmerize with Amanda after watching her dance to that Billie Eilish song Bad Guy. Her moves were so on point and sassy. I’ve been try to find other DDC videos of her.
I've watched previous years were they keep saying we need to cut, we need to cut, then keep the rest at 38 or 39. Maybe again this year.

There have been times when some of the girls were cut right up to the end of training camp as a learning experience but then they came back next year with a vengeance even outdoing veterans making the squad!!
