This is my first time filming a Classic Car Yard for the channel, it's a big experiment and I don't claim to know everything perfectly, but I am growing. The HUGE Black Fleetwood Cadillac in the back 40 could have been used by Fleetwood Mac band back in their touring days. It would be interesting to chase down the vin numbers to verify who once owned that Fleetwood limo. I would love to restore that car of all of the cars you've shown The Fleetwood is my fav. A year or so ago he had a black man on there that he's been friends with for a long time. He's a great guy. Him and I have had some long phone and text conversations. He is a true car guy. You may look them up and see if he can do something with you on your channel. Here comes crossing video very well and he's knowledgeable. I don't know how he would do anything but help you on your channel. I know he's a very busy guy. Oh I know his name I have his phone number and so forth. I'm not going to sit here and tell you how to run your channel or anything. But you might be surprised who has used some of my ideas 💡. What I seeing your channel is promising as long as you stay with it. In I can do something different you know you could approach your salvage yard differently. Probably get the same number of views. It would be a different group of people. There's a couple other guys near you. At least near that salvage yard. Anyway I went ahead and sub to your channel I want to see where you go with it. I am a big big supporter Mr T. I don't often mention it on my channel but I'm very boisterous on other channels that are designed for political and social viewpoints. I was getting thousands of views. I ain't got around 40,000 views on one car in particular. I'm being censored and it can only be because of my political or social conservative beliefs. The lesson here is what's important. I'd say a lot of people in Oklahoma and Texas would support those viewpoints. The trouble is they're not the one in control of their social media we're talking on. I'm very much straight to your point but I'm talking around in a circle so I don't contaminate your channel. Just a heads up. One thing I like to do to get car show junkyard a bunch of them out in the field. I'll pick a few of them and do individual videos while I'm there and follow up with them. Now I don't do anything longer than a few minutes. I live and die on the shorts 🩳. It's about the amount of work I want to put into it. 👍

only 2 hours from Stonewall and do some wrenching myself, but you got to have a good platform to resurrect *frame damage *all the glass * okla so the rust is usually minimal * not gonna restore a car unless i love it - that being said of course this is a great video . . . that malibu/chevelle good resto mod candidate

Convertible Dakota was NOT a factory assembly line truck. Select truck optioned trucks were sent factory secondary assembler company. Excellent example is Ford and Ford Shelby.
Thank you for your comments. Let's dive deeper here because I think the hang up is with my use of the word "Factory" which I'll clarify at the end of my comment here. The Dakota Convertible was only offered in the Sport Model Dakotas. It was considered a "Factory" vehicle by Mopar even though the top was done in partnership with American Sunroof Corporation. Because Dodge commissioned the tops, it is considered a "Factory" option by owners. The contrast here is "Factory" vs "Aftermarket". Aftermarket meaning a non Dodge Recognized option. The Drop Top Dakota Sport is considered "Stock" or "Factory" which are words that can be used interchangeably without harm. This is all I was attempting to explain. Additionally, your example of Ford and Shelby has a bit of a flaw in it. The Shelby Mustang did become a Factory Ford Assembly line car in 1969. Prior to 1969, they were exclusively built at Shelby Motor Company in California. The difference here, Dodge did not add a name to the Dakota or put the American Sunroof Company name on the truck life Shelby did on the Mustangs. Also, because the Shelby option did become an assembly line Mustang Option, it's not apples to apples. Another example is the The Boss 429. It is still considered "factory" even though it was built by Karr Kraft. Therefore the comparison isn't equal. The Honeycomb wheels were offered in 1971-76 Only. The 1977 -1981 Trans Am was offered with the "Snowflake" Wheel. Since this car is a 1979, it has those rather than the Honeycombs. My age doesn't effect the options available in the 70s. t 35min those two cars are Buick Invictus or Le Sabers 4 door Flat tops... love flat tops which were available on many of the four door GM models for those years like the Oldsmobile at minute 48. Minute 36 those Bullets on the Cadillacs were know as "Dagmar's"... referenced from a Buxom actress of early times... Goggle Dagmar's and you'll see! By the way that Wrecked 2 door Cadillac you showed with the Dagmar's is easily a six figure car in the market because its stupid rare! Minute 52 Karmen Ghia are Poor Man Porsches actually had Porsche Horsepower engines! All the Hudson's 4 doors are Wasps the racing 2 doors were the Hornets and No That was not TUCKER All 50 of them are accounted for Or that would be Number 51 and worth Ten Million Dollars! Lol! It's not a 58 57 had single tail lights 58 had 2 tail lights on both sides I know this because im 74 years old and been a mechanic for 60 years an d owned and worked on many 57 and 58 ford's that one is a 57
@@thomasputnam4491 I don't mean to argue with you but you are confusing the Fairlane with the Ranchero. The Fairlane had dual taillight starting in 1958 but the Ranchero didn't. The 57 and 58 Ranchero shared the same rear end with single rear lights. It wasn't until 1959 the ranchero had dual taillights. The Fairlane had dual taillight starting in 1958 but the Ranchero didn't. I know for certain because my father owned a 58 Ranchero and I drove it from New Jersey to Arizona once. The moldings on the Ranchero in the video are 1958 and the front of the Ranchero has a 58 Nose. Additionally, the Ranchero in the video has 1958 side moldings which are different than 57 and one year only. The 1957 and 1958 Ranchero have the same rear taillights. It is not the same as the Fairlane which had different rear tail lights. The Ranchero in the video is a 1958. But, I can see how you can confuse them. We all get them wrong sometimes. That's why humility is important so we can all grow and encourage each other to do better.
@@LostandFoundClassics it said 57 DeSoto, 57 and 58 looked a like except the head lights and the trim, but you were close on the year, I would have said 57 too but I seen if it's 57 and 58 side by side and it was just the chrome difference.

1967 was the 1st year for front wheel drive Eldorados, I had a 66.

The 57 Chev Bel Air came in 2dr. 4dr and wagon 2 or 4 dr sedan and also 2, 4 dr. ht. yes and wagon.

t 35min those two cars are Buick Invictus or Le Sabers 4 door Flat tops... love flat tops which were available on many of the four door GM models for those years like the Oldsmobile at minute 48.
Minute 36 those Bullets on the Cadillacs were know as "Dagmar's"... referenced from a Buxom actress of early times... Goggle Dagmar's and you'll see! By the way that Wrecked 2 door Cadillac you showed with the Dagmar's is easily a six figure car in the market because its stupid rare!
Minute 52 Karmen Ghia are Poor Man Porsches actually had Porsche Horsepower engines!
All the Hudson's 4 doors are Wasps the racing 2 doors were the Hornets and No That was not TUCKER All 50 of them are accounted for Or that would be Number 51 and worth Ten Million Dollars! Lol!

That's a 57 Ranchero
It's actually a 58. The 57 and 58 share the same rear end.
It's not a 58 57 had single tail lights 58 had 2 tail lights on both sides I know this because im 74 years old and been a mechanic for 60 years an d owned and worked on many 57 and 58 ford's that one is a 57
@@thomasputnam4491 I don't mean to argue with you but you are confusing the Fairlane with the Ranchero.
The Fairlane had dual taillight starting in 1958 but the Ranchero didn't.
The 57 and 58 Ranchero shared the same rear end with single rear lights. It wasn't until 1959 the ranchero had dual taillights.

The moldings on the Ranchero in the video are 1958 and the front of the Ranchero has a 58 Nose.
Additionally, the Ranchero in the video has 1958 side moldings which are different than 57 and one year only.

Thank you, a few others pointed that out as well. My specialty is in 60 and 70s Muscle cars and I'm not as well versed in the larger luxury cars of the 50s and 60s.

In some of my other videos, folks said that I talked too little and that they wanted to hear my thoughts. I enjoyed walking through the yard and commenting on things the best I could. I specialize in Ford and GM mostly 60s and 70s Muscle Cars. Exploring the Yard was stretching for my knowledge and I'm doing my best to learn. Thanks for commenting.

It's a Studebaker.. And I realized that after I said it but forget to correct myself.
This is my first time going through a Classic Car yard and filming for the channel, it a big experiment and I don't claim to know everything perfectly, but I am growing.
The majority of me expertise is 60s and 70s GM and Ford Muscle Cars. I am not a Cadillac or Mopar expert nor do I know some of the larger Luxury Vehicles extremely well. If I make a mistake along the way, help me learn rather than belittling me. There's always room for all of us to learn together.
I want to keep the classic car industry alive and kicking. Being grumpy and prideful only keeps my generation away from the classics and pushes them into the imports. So let's be cool and help each other.

@@LostandFoundClassics it said 57 DeSoto, 57 and 58 looked a like except the head lights and the trim, but you were close on the year, I would have said 57 too but I seen if it's 57 and 58 side by side and it was just the chrome difference.
