For ticks, I would suggest getting some Permethrin. It's a long lasting tick killer. It works best on items of clothing that you don't wash often like shoes, jacket, or a hat. It's about twice a year application and it's not supposed to be sprayed directly on people or Duffers.
We missed you yesterday young man, but it was worth the wait, as usual. A couple of things, you were disconcerted with Duff's method of marking the staging area but at least it wasn't Chin doing it. And while Duff preferred cologne scent leaves much to be desired, it cannot be said, "He doesn't give a @#$% about these car retrievals." When you started you removing trees, you made the observation that you didn't bring bar oil for the chain saw and the only thing in the vicinity was a drinking establishment. I recall being in the same predicament. I went into the bar for some bar oil (an honest mistake). When I asked for bar oil they gave me Old Milwaukee (which might taste the same). What there was in there, were rear ends which were oversized for the application you happened to be in need of. But I digress. Anyway, I wish to make a Public Service Announcement: Those who wish to imbibe, a good rule of thumb is to avoid things with, "Old", in the name, i.e., Old Milwaukee, Old Grand Dad, Old Senator, Old Crow.... etc.
Hi mortise, wow what score, love all of the 58 Chevy, one of my favorite Chevy especially impala , will me waiting for a will it RUN on the 4dr 58 with the 348, my DAD in the 1960 fixed up old Chevys I remember back in 1966 I was 11 years old my dad bought a 59 Chevy wrecked in the front it had a 348 3speed stick on the floor, soon after he purchased a 59 Chevy Belair 2dr sedan with a 6 cylinder 3 speed stick , that summer of July 1966 , my DAD pulled out the 348 of the 58 i was helping out , my DAD had me changing the chassis mounts from the 58 to the 59 six cylinder mounts are Different , I learned early about things like that at a young age, we dropped in the BB 348 in the 59 my dad had chevron gas station in iselin nj on Rte 27 at the time, so we had access to a lift, we put a hole in the floor for the Hurst shifter, installed dual exhaust with brocken mello tone mufflers , also changed the front springs from the 58 to the 59 , after all the hard work my dad drove the 59 for many years , I loved that car , it was fast and Loud, he finally sold the 59 in 1972 just before I got my DL. I miss that car.
You definitely worked your butt off on this one. The 58 with the blue interior with a console would have looked so good when it was new. I agree that people suck... I don't understand why people tell you that they want something and are coming to get it, and you never hear from them again. It pisses me off too no end... All they have to do is let you know they aren't coming so you don't sit around waiting for them. If it's good car parts it goes on ebay, otherwise I just donate things and it's done without the headaches... I have never seen one of those posi dash emblems before. That is beyond cool.

Absolutely
Great job! I appreciate all the honesty, not just on the disposition of these cars, but also the condition 👌 No one can ever accuse you of lying about them, you not just show the warts, you highlight them. 😂 I mean this with great respect, you are a true Midwesterner! 👍 Thanks for the ride along and awesome price (as always) on the Plymouth.
I appreciate that!
A fine job of increasing the inventory of your future estate sale! 🤣
Nice to be able to buy several of the same cars in one place. Much better odds of creating one good car. 👍
Very true!
Ya worked your butts off good haul, thanks for sharing and taking us along!
Our pleasure
For ticks, I would suggest getting some Permethrin. It's a long lasting tick killer. It works best on items of clothing that you don't wash often like shoes, jacket, or a hat. It's about twice a year application and it's not supposed to be sprayed directly on people or Duffers.
Thanks for the info
Great video sir , love seeing all those cars being brought back from purgatory
You and me both!
Amazing collection of.........rusted crap, and I love it! I am living vicariously through your adventures, Mortske. Keep the content coming!
Thanks! Will do!
We missed you yesterday young man, but it was worth the wait, as usual. A couple of things, you were disconcerted with Duff's method of marking the staging area but at least it wasn't Chin doing it. And while Duff preferred cologne scent leaves much to be desired, it cannot be said, "He doesn't give a @#$% about these car retrievals."
When you started you removing trees, you made the observation that you didn't bring bar oil for the chain saw and the only thing in the vicinity was a drinking establishment.
You guys do great work, those cars and trucks are some real treasures you were able to save.
Thanks 👍
You definitely worked your butt off on this one. The 58 with the blue interior with a console
would have looked so good when it was new.
I agree that people suck... I don't understand why people tell you that they want something
and are coming to get it, and you never hear from them again.
