What tips you got I can’t get my wheel up at all in 2nd gear so I can only wheelie up to 30 maybe 40mph what’s your sprocket setup I dropped one in the rear and raised 3 in the back so 15-50 comes up easy in first but that’s the only gear I can manage and I want to be able to roll a wheelie down the street and be cool!.
Awesome video! Great tips. I have a stock gearing 2016 model. No matter how hard i whack the throttle in first it wont come up? From around 6k rpm. Any tips? I used to practice 2nd gear clutch ups on my V4 tuono, so wonder if I should just go to 2nd gear clutch ups on the triple? Thanks!
mines an 08! apparently when they changed to your gen they ended up longing gear 1 out! ive seen videos of it being clutched in first. i've done a lot to my bike so it can clutch in third if i really need to but second is best! i personally would go -1 on the front it just gives it that little edge without decreasing alot of top speed! and if you have a stock pipe! change it cause they weigh alot on the new gen
@@rmw3668 Awesome thanks very much! yeah -1 on the front sounds like a good idea. Ill try that at the next chain replacement. Yeah took the heavy stock pipe off and put a nice shorty on now. Its quite loud but sounds amazing! Thanks for the reply :)
@@rmw3668 My bike came with the OEM arrow exhuast so Im assuming it has the arrow mapping on it. Just yesterday I ordered a bluetooth OBD2 reader. So will see what map I have on Tune ECU.
How you get it up man? Traction control off?? I try and every time I pull clutch in and put power to it,it jolts me hard as?? I just had an 2017 650 and I was so good at it but this thing won't let me 2018 660 s
@@ThLazyMan no I went -1 but it was so long ago I forgot how many 😂 but one thing I would say it was so much better! I would rarely hit that top speed unless I was on dual carriage way
I have a 2014 model, which has different gearing they say, but when i power wheelie in first, i go to about 6k rpm and release the throttle and slam it back on the throttle. Cover the back brake and dont do max throttle the first time. Try it out bit by bit. Same for 2nd gear clutch ups, I'm not that good at it myself but progress slowly so you learn and get used to it :)
hi! please would you be able to tell me the revs and cut off time that works out best for you in your healtech quikshifter please? and also is there much difference with - 1 less tooth in the front? can you lift in second of the throttle?
I can’t really tell you the revs cause it depends on the speed you are doing! But all I would say is give it a bit by bit until you find the sweet spot
No I have not, stock gearing and not too interested in changing the gear, the bike already has a aggressive throttle and revvs iup quickly, but if it makes a significant difference for wheelies I'd consider it
Bro, your engine drone is way too overpowering and we can't hear much of what you're sayin'! Don't know if your using a mic inside your helmet or recording straight of the cam!
I like how yall entered the roundabout at the same time and you got mad
what you on about? :)

@@DarkRiderMotovlogs have you mapped it on tuneecu?? that made a big difference

@@rmw3668 I've been thinking about getting the TuneECU. What map do you use? And does it help with smoothening out the throttle opening at low RPMs?

It doesn’t have traction control mate
Nice video dude! Quick question: what’s your top speed with the 15T front sprocket? Im trying to decide if it’s worth it or not
On speedo mate it goes to 157
@@rmw3668 mph? That’s the same as the stock sprocket?

Great video. Thanks. I recently bought the healtech quick shifter and haven’t installed it yet. Do you mind posting a pic if where you mounted it?
I can’t mate I’ve sold my bike! But the module was stored near the battery! Best mod is that quickshifter

Thanks for this mate. Means a lot :)
StreetTriple Mat send me clips of your wheelies and I'll tell you what you need but just get use to 1st powers
Ill have a look through what footage I have. tbh I don't think I'm giving it enough throttle when popping the clutch
StreetTriple Mat ok mate
Do you give it full throttle in 1st and 2nd to power it up and when you changed the front sprocket did you have to remove the chain ?

What camera and mic setup are you using?? Have you popped many fork seals landing like that??

Do you have traction control turned off when doing wheelies?
It doesn’t have traction control
Good advice
I cant seem to get my 675?2012 to clutch up in 2nd
I've had my str almost a year now, just been doing those first gear power wheelies, need to try second gear but dumping clutch is sketchy
what year is it
If it 2012 and onward do first gear clutch
2009
Corey Conachan have you gone one down the front

yeah doesn't decrease top end by much at all and 2nd and 3rd gear wheelies
I got a '16, too nervous to try this still lol
Same here! Probably going to learn on another bike before risking a big expense with this one.
Which Renthal bar do you use?
not sure mate
What license are you on?
Chrome Fusion a2
@@rmw3668 you're probably best to ask then. Is the power measured at the crank or the rear wheel cause I'm confused
