Thanks so much for this video. I spent HOURS trying to figure out why I couldn't get the trainer to start after following the official NAM instructions. Every time I got the error that "nam was not an internal or external program..." Not sure if adding the "conda activate nam" would have worked with my install, I wound up reinstalling Anaconda and following your instructions which finally worked. Thanks again, and great playing in the video.
Great video, nice sound, awesome player! But I have a question.... why did the NAM developers choose these time-consuming and difficult linux-type procedures and not a simple double-click exe?... we have pc, we use windows and we are in 2024!
Hi Emil, great video! at 4:53 you suggested to overwrite the core.py file. Do you know why? I'm asking because, as you said, if I don't change that file, actually the NAM Training fails and I was wondering why. Thank you once more!
Thanks for this. Really helpfull. I've figured out how to install most of it. Unfortunately it's now spinning on "Solving environment" for almost 1.5 hrs already, after running "conda env update -f environment_gpu.yml" (I did run it as Administrator) Now I read I'd better used Mamba instead of Anaconda. Results supposedly are the same but much faster installation. Also it seems to be unwise to abort the current Anaconda Solving Environment install because it seems to be hard to remove an aborted installation on Windows. I think I'll just wait and sit this one out without aborting it.

Thanks! Glad to help!
yes, MUCH better 👍 Profile 1 (the one with the highest gain) is spot on. I'm playing this through a VHT 2502 and a 2x12 cab and it surely delivers
It was for sure a winner 🤘 thanks!
SICK soloing at the start. I fucking mean it.
Thanks man! 🤘
Amazing video and tones - comment for the algorithm gods and for appreciation of your playing and making this video.
Thanks man! Awesome 😂 Really liked your video on the plugin! One of the first I saw 👍 Great stuff 🤘

Not exactly sure but it was something in the code of the old one that it didn't recognize the v1_1_1. 👍
@@Rohbemusic Thank you! May I ask you where did you find the info about that file substitution? Thanks!
Just did alot of reading and researching in threads and questions 👍
@@Rohbemusic ok thanks
You need to type "cd /path/to/directory" when you just paste directory it gives error as you can see.
Yes I saw that when it was to late. Wrote that in the discription along with the acurate instructions 👍
i was wondering where to get the input and output.
I've got a GTX 1070Ti. You think this would work better than the Google Colab? Cheers for the vids, tones, and captures, by the way! They're great!
Thanks man! Yes for sure faster! Thats a monster! 👍
The future is now!
Yeah! 👍

Takes a few times to get it right! Good luck 👍
I can't find the "nam demo quad" files where I download? thanks bro
Have you checked the Google drive link?
I see a potential legal issue here. The name has already caused some problems for some. Very cool no matter what the outcome.
Think its ok since its free and all 👍 But yeah I have thought about that too.
When I try to choose my soundcard in the standalone preferences, it crashes... Anyone has the same problem ?
Try to write in the NAN Facebook group for help. Does the plugin version work?
How much disk space is needed for this?
Anaconda takes up quite some space. Looks like 25gig on my computer 👍 The rest is very little.
why dont you show all process. This video is waste of my time. Where is input v.1.1 ? where is output?
If you need more basic help, this is the video for that.
